I thought I would begin with a prediction. "Obama will win the nomination but lose the election."
Fox News are on to him and all the arguments our "smear" camping is making and for the most part it is running with them. Sean Hannity is the best.
Slowly, but surely Obama, is doing himself in. It is not just the company he keeps but also what he is now saying.
Ed Lasky, the News Editor of The American Thinker, reports on Senator Obama's Coming Out Party in Cleveland. Ed does a brilliant job of ferreting out the true meaning of Obama's remarks. But in my opinion he mis-states two things which I want to address first.
Recent polls disclose that 2/3 of Israelis are against dividing Jerusalem and retreating from Judea and Samaria and that is despite the fact the the entire world including the Government of Israel and its media have been embracing the two state solution.
I submit that The American Thinker is wrong in taking this position. Organizations and individuals who take positions critical of Israel, which Obama's church does, often cross the line into antisemitism. Lasky knows the difference between legitimate criticism and antisemitic criticism. Obama's Trinity United Church of Christ sure fits the later category.
Bill Levinson posted to very important articles on Israpundit which can't be ignored; Obama’s Church Connected to Sabeel, Naim Ateek and Obama’s Church and Black Liberation Theology

Well, that for sure sews up the Black and Jewish voting block for him...
No.
America will lose the election - regardless of who actually wins it - if McCain and Obama are the only choices.
Obama will be gone if he keeps talking specifics! Like that boneheaded comment in the debate about al-Q in Iraq, followed up with the claim that al-Q was not in Iraq until we invaded. (No, they were in New York City; Shanksville PA; and Washington DC.) McCain, predictably, was way too soft on Obama that time.
Rush had a man on who said that his Jewish relatives(and he said there were many) in So Florida will never vote for Obama. He said that he wasn’t sure what their reasoning was, but they were adamant, NO OBAMA.
So, we figure Obama is not getting Florida. It would be difficult for a Democrat to win Florida without the Jewish or Hispanic vote.
FR needs more prophecy. Especially on gold threads.
And I'm afraid that McCain will not take the gloves off at any time during the general election campaign.
We need to write letters to the editor to point out where Obama is factually wrong. The press is giving Obama a huge pass on this, they need to be hectored into giving the whole story.

Excellent point.
Can you imagine the “racism” bovine scatology from the DemocRATS that we’re going to have to endure over the next 8 years if Obi-Wan Obama ISN’T elected? “America isn’t ready for a black president because they’re racists!!” Blah blah blah. The DemocRATS will be more hysterical than they were when President Bush was elected the first time.
I hope it’s not close like in 2000! Can you imagine if McCain wins they way Bush did?
It doesn’t matter how much Obama loses by.
There will be massive riots and looting no matter what.
Agreed. Obama offers nothing more than the same old worn out liberalism of class warfare and social engineering that has run down America for the last 40 years. Hopefully, voters will see him for what he really is, a political lightweight, an empty suit and a demagogue.
An old saying: "Hold your powder, and keep it dry."
Timing is everything...
Cubans (concentrated in South Florida): Republican
Puerto Ricans (concentrated in Central Florida): Democrat.
Other Hispanic groups are all over the map (depending on income and, dare I say, race), but lean slightly Democrat. However, Cubans and Ricans basically dominate the Hispanic vote in FL.
As for the Jews (and Palm Beach County FL has more chosen people per capita than any other county in America), despite the hatred of most SoFla Jews for the GOP (and the Bush family in particular), they have give a significant minority of their support to GOP candidates in the past (Reagan in 1980 due to the backlash against Carter/Mariel and in the landslide year of '84), so we shouldn't discount this demo, although the majority of the SoFla Jewish vote will go to whoever the Dems nominate. It may just be a narrower majority.
The reason Florida almost went to Gore was due to 1. Record black turnout throughout the state 2. high turnout in the condo canyons of SoFla because of Lieberman 3. Puerto Rican voters were a factor for the first time, and the main reason why Orange and Osceola Counties went Dem despite having voted for Dole and 4. swing voting females in the I-4 corridor.
Liberal pundits are attempting to dismiss his “church affiliation” as something that just happened when he first decided to seek public office in Illinois. IOW, belonging to a church would look good on his resume’.
They don't need Florida, they need Ohio. And if the economy tanks they won't have a problem carrying it.
