Well, she may not have really written it.... but if she lives up to the sentiment, I say good on her.

I wonder what's the progress on the Ayn Rand Atlas Shrugged movies(s)?...............

She was very careful with what she wrote, but she clearly stated that, after the surge things are getting better for Iraqis. She also specifically said that the members of the military she has spoken to want to stay to continue the progress (so much for “bring them home”).
I’d say that when the anti-war movement has lost Angelina Jolie they are in serious trouble.

I don’t like the fact that her body looks like a subway train going through the Bronx with all that graffiti but good for her siding with our troops if she actually means it.

Maybe she has started talking to her dad again and he got some common sense into her....
..that, or in her role as UN spokesmodel (or whatever she does), she has a chance to see what the real world is like and it woke her up.

Her dad is Jon Voight.
He has been supporting the troops bigtime.
I believe she wants us to stay but for humanitarian reasons.

I’ve always wondered how those “peace” folks could support pulling out and letting thousands of people get slaughtered.

All these people have to do is READ and they can get unbiased accounts of the heroics taking place by our soldiers. The sacrifices they made so those people can go back to their homes and normal lives as well as keeping less terrorists functioning.
I must recommend two books

Wow! Her publicist/agent/entourage must have been asleep at the wheel and a little bit of honest, well thought out, reasoned opinion slipped out.
I am sure they are fully awake and on the case now. I expect a “Bush slam” soon to do a little damage control.
