Doesen’t matter, because as one poster informed me, Mc Cain is going to win in a landslide.

That is the funniest think I have read on this site in years....

McCain is running out of money? Oh, the irony and karma of McCain-Feingold is so rich!

If the GOP needs donations they should contact John McAmnesty's buddies in the Mainstream Media, Mexico, and at the 19th hole in the nearest country club. They might also contact "my good friends and colleagues across the aisle" for some strategic support as well. He has had a grand time always supporting them in their time of need.

Why should conservatives give their hard earned money to somebody who has been plunging knives in their backs for years - so he can fulfill his longstanding dream of becoming President?

Does he think we are simple, emotionally driven morons like the Democrats who have forgotten McCain-Feingold, McCain-Kennedy, the Gang of 14, absurd restrictions on terrorist prisoners while trying to close Gitmo and award them free lawyers and access to the American court system, and a host of other outrages?

He is a weak, faulty candidate who has been forced on us by our political enemies and a clueless Washington-centric GOP Party structure which just wants us to shut up and support their lame candidate. We need to give our money to individual candidates instead,... candidates who are a choice, not an echo!

and it's gotta be coming in from people who are now hitting the legal limit on how much they can donate.

Legal limits mean nothing to Democrats - never have.

For the past 8 years the RNC has been negligent in their choices, causing unrepairable damage to this country. The Girl Scouts do a much better job.

I just don’t see McCain generating the enthusiasm needed to really rake in contributions. I know quite a few normally reliable Republican donors who will not.

Look at how much campaign donations are generated through individual contributions vs. how much are generated through bundling.

Specifically, look at the contributions generated for 2000 and 2004 by Bush supporting bundlers (iirc they were called "Rangers"), and consider that, at the moment anyways, it doesn't appear that this network has been activated for McCain.

Given that McCain is the only candidate in the race who will largely perpetuate Bush's key policy efforts (Iraq and the WoT), is it safe to assume that this network will be activated? And if so when ... and if so why not yet?

Something lies beneath his absence. I know I am absolutely disappointed in him.

Slightly worse? McCain is a hundred times better than Obama.

Heh, well, they aren’t gettin’ money from ME, that is for sure.

Maybe when they start governing like CONSERVATIVES...FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME...then I’ll consider it.

But the Republicans push for AMNESTY, their refusal to back President Bush’s permanency on tax cuts, their fear of trying to change Social Security, their sucking up to the demands of the left....well, it has left a bad bad bad taste in my mouth.

I will CONTINUE to give my hard earned dollars to conservatives, but the party can SHOVE IT until they start—as a party—acting more like Ronald Reagan and less like Dick Nixon.

So, let me see if I have this right....

You don’t like McAmnesty......

In your rant you forgot about McCain Lieberman, a 50cent per gallon TAX to pay for the damage Goebbels Warming has caused. Massive emissions restrictions on all heavy industry and automobiles. Which will shut down about half of the economy. But then, we can all go work in the fields and hoe lettuce with the newly legal “immigrants”, so there should be plenty of work.

Forget about political contributions, we’ll be doing all we can just to keep the lights on. (If McBane gets elected.)

Yes, maybe he has calculated since 2000, that kissing MSM and DNC arse, and dissing Conservatives, will bring him the cash he needs, or just bring him the good press he needs.

We shall see is his risk pans out.

I think he was in to ensure the conservatives were fractured. I say this b/c of the way he campaigned. When it was known to be over he was smart fast witted and energetic. In the beginning he was tired and slow. Just good enough to get some votes, all conservative ones, but no fire no drive, nothing to ignite a campaign. Smells bad to me and I can’t shake the smell.
