Did Hillary Really Go There? (Latest Ad Fallout)

I'm not inclined to see this as Ann Althouse does. But a 100% screen cap of the YouTube doesn't exactly make it easy to dismiss. See below.

Asks a commenter — "Tom" — on my post about the new Hillary Clinton commercial, the one that shows several children sleeping and then Clinton taking a national security phone call in the middle of the night. You can see the commercial at the link, and the pajamas in question are on display during seconds 11 and 12. On pausing, staring, and thinking, I believe these are pajamas that say "good night" all over them, but the letters "NIG" are set apart by a fold in the fabric.

Screen capture at link. Lead story on website now.

Playing to those who would trade freedom for security.

Her and Bubba didn’t do much for Security in their last 8 year occupation of the White House

McCain will get accused come this fall. Right now, it's Hillary's turn.

Hey...maybe McCain will get ahead of the charge and apologize on Hillary’s behalf for the commercial. :D

Hilary picks up the phone. Petraeus is trying to tell her about the situation in Iraq. Hilary: “That requires the willing suspension of disbelief”. Hangs up the phone.

Could get interesting. look at the coniption fit the media had when the letters R-A-T showed up for .00004 seconds in an ad and now this for 11-12 seconds?

This is kinda reaching, I'd say. I mean, it's not like the pseudo-random designs in the old Pepsi cans that spelled out "SEX"...

There is no such thing as "random" in Advertising. Period.

Joe Camel, Jack in the Box, etc. IMO

Makes sense. After all, ol' Señor McAmnesty has already made it plain that he thinks Frau Thunderthighs will be a "good president." (gag)

I don’t think there’s anything to this as far as the writing on the kid’s pajamas is concerned. However, when I saw the ad, it reminded me of the infamous television commercial that LBJ ran against Barry Goldwater during the 1964 election (the one showing a child picking flowers, ending with an Atomic bomb exploding.) Talk about “the politics of fear!” Hillary’s commercial is an updated version of the LBJ ad.

I find it ludicrous that Hillary answers any telephone, especially at 3AM. She has “people” for that, besides she will not have any crises when she’s President. So why answer the phone.

Who was calling Hilary? The kids? The mother?

Just wondering, can we call her tonight or does that have to wait till she's president.

The ad does nothing more than illuminate the delusion in the Clinton campaign that the public thinks Hillary! is competent.
