Does Texas have more problems with racism, perceived or otherwise, than any other place on earth? Or is this just a couple of people hungry for attention, who feel they haven’t received enough from the local authorities and press?

It seems to be the latter.

I expect some trouble here in the small town where I live in NC.
A movie is about to be made of a book that deals with a racial killing and the aftermath.

When I lived in Garland, Texas, (about an hour from Arlington), I remember watching a new (Hispanic) family move into our neighborhood. My across the street neighbor walked over to me and whispered, "There goes the neighborhood." (Yes, she actually said that exact phrase.)

BTW, she was black.
