Doors uncovered
Two days after the attack, racial graffiti was spray-painted on the garage doors of the house the couple has been building since 2005, when a fire destroyed their previous home. In January, KSKY/660 AM radio host Mike Gallagher helped raise $4,000 to replace the doors. Gamble picked up the new doors last week, according to Gallagher.
The vandalized doors have not been replaced, but a blue tarp covers the racial slurs.
Haynes announced Friday that the doors were being uncovered so the "world would see that racism exists in Arlington."
"Racism in Arlington has been exposed," he said. Supporters were encouraged to visit the home before they left the rally.
No suspects have been identified in connection with the vandalism.

Fix a glass of brandy to drink after reading this. In fact make it a double.
What is this? The Seinfeld finale? Gimme a break.
Is this Arlington in Virginia? In Oregon?
It would be nice if such articles explained WHERE in the U.S. such incidents happened.
The "Arrest neighbors for not stopping the attack" caught my eye. Is it possible that since the house in question has been "under construction" for over two years, many of the neighbors thought it an eyesore? They did call 911 FWIW.
No permits seem to have been gather for the aforementioned construction, and now they want demeaned a free ride?
Methinks there is much, much more to the story. The couple was charged with theft a the home deport store? The woman seems to have filed more than few lawsuits as well.
My last question - these folks don't seem to be locals...did they move there from N.O? Houston?
In February, the couple sued Head seeking unspecified monetary damages.
Littlejohn and Gamble have sued at least two other businesses in Arlington.
A lawsuit filed last year states that an employee at The Home Depot on the Road to Six Flags accused the couple of theft. In the lawsuit, Littlejohn and Gamble said the manager called them "low lifes," "liars" and "thieves." The lawsuit is still active.
In a 2002 lawsuit, Littlejohn said that on her first day as a manager at Shear Cuts in Lincoln Square, she heard an employee say, "I'm not going to work for a black woman." The disposition of the lawsuit against Shear Cuts was unclear late Friday.
Texas
Watch for ‘victim’ status to rise to the top of the complaint list if Obama is elected in November. We won’t have a country left to protect if that’s the case. It will be owned by all the ‘victims’.
My elderly inlaws live in Arlington, what area is affected?
Does Texas have more problems with racism, perceived or otherwise, than any other place on earth? Or is this just a couple of people hungry for attention, who feel they haven’t received enough from the local authorities and press?
It seems to be the latter.
Texas I believe
I cannot help but wonder if this couple if responsible for the grafiti on their garage doors.
Sounds to me like [REDACTED DUE TO POSTING GUIDELINES], only harder this time.
Obama and Clinton are both in DFW this week. Maybe its just coincidence.
Yes, Texas. Thank you.
OK. I’ve got it. And I didn’t see the Fort Worth link, even though I searched for possible clues. (That’s half the fun with articles that have no “where”.)
“My elderly inlaws live in Arlington, what area is affected?”
Going by the high cultured and high caliber this “couple” seem ed to be I would guess East Arlington or around that not of hell hole apratments arounf Washington and Collins in North Arlington. But a 4,700+ s.f. house in those areas? Must be one of those getting to much house McMansion soon to be foreclosed people.
It sure has...they held a rally to demonstrate it.
The article says North Arlington, which is pretty vague considering.
