I will be posting pictures each year. Pay attention to the BONUS pics of the Littoral Combat Craft (LCS) and the pic of the railgun test.

Great pictures. I never thought I see a photo of Ronald Wilson Reagan leaning to the left (port).

The railgun and eventually, directed energy weapons for CIWS are going to revolutionize naval combat.

I like the one on your site of the Regan in a high speed, tight left turn. It's a great picture indeed, I read somewhere it was taken during sea trials.
BTW, it is a hard RIGHT turn, more appropriate for the Ronald Reagan. The severe angle of the deck washes out the spineless moderates over to the left, where they belong ;-)

Stealth can be a great asset for some warships. However, for the Iowa’s, being big, visible and right off the coast had a certain psychological value.
To: Jeff Head
Nice pictures Jeff.

History Channel "Battle 360".
The story of the USS Enterprise during WWII. First episode was Fri. night, next Fri. the battle of Midway.
The founder of Enterprise Rent-a-Car was a pilot on the Enterprise and named his Co. after the ship. He is sponsoring the program.

I’m a USAF Vet, but I love ships. As long as I don’t have to spend months on them.
You’ve always done a good job on FR and I really do appreciate your hard work.
Thank you Mr. Head.
