Maniacs who usually stopped their meds are shooting people at random. What's wrong with sanitariums? Some people are a danger to society but society doesn't want to step on their toes. Until they lock up the psychos who can't even manage their meds, there will be more senseless killings. People without guns can only duck and crawl or play dead. Lock the psychos up BEFORE they act out their fantasies. They do not belong out running loose in society.

darn straight. It's not the guns. It's always people with long histories of mental illness who BELONG IN SANITARIUMS. There will be a lag time before the media reports this guy was insane. First, they'll find his friends and neighbors who will say he was such a nice guy. They need to do psycho in your town alerts just like they do predator alerts if they aren't going to institutionalize them.

I live in central Florida, and the original inhabitants have been leaving the area for decades. They are moving “north”: North of Palm Beach County; our area, which is Indian River and about 1-2 hours drive from Palm Beach; out of the state; and now moving west into the interior of the state and the west coast.

Yep. Today he would have already been molested if allowed to wander as he did. I still watch the Beaver and The Andy Griffith show. I can remember those times and it makes me smile. Sort of warm and fuzzy in these days of perverts and the liberals who let them abuse.

We had the town to ourselves and I mean, I was just six or seven. Maybe all the kids now like Obama cuz they've never known how to be self reliant and independent. Look at the contestant for Miss Teen Somebody and her answer about maps. She's on you tube explaining that people need maps. She definitely does. Totally.

I know the episode. Actually, I am sure I’ve seen them 10 or more times each - never tire of them. We did have our own little worlds - our territory was vast and we weren’t affraid to venture out. Pirates with stick swords, cowboys and indians (sorry PC police) hide-and-seek at night, tree houses with no girls allowed (sorry PC police)and overnight slumber parties with lots of giggles, popcorn and boy talk. No wildness, weirdness, no danger. Just being kids in our kids world. Yes, the good old days were good, indeed.

There were kids in a different neighborhood who had a laundry chute to their basement. Now that was fun.
