Texas Caucus Count Takes Wind Out of Clinton’s Wins (Hillary's been robbed)

Late-breaking numbers out of Texas’ odd two-phase voting system put an asterisks on Hillary Clinton’s Tuesday night victory speech, showing gains made by Barack Obama in the delegate grab race had all but numerically canceled out her big win in Ohio

Although Clinton scored major moral — and morale — victories by taking more votes in Ohio, Texas and Rhode Island, an Associated Press count of the delegates shows Clinton only reduced Obama’s delegates lead by 12 following Tuesday’s voting. She lost in Vermont to Obama.

In the overall race for the nomination, Obama had 1,562 delegates, including separately chosen party and elected officials known as superdelegates. Clinton had 1,461. It takes 2,025 delegates to secure the Democratic nomination.

For the night, Clinton won at least 185 delegates and Obama won at least 173

This is good news. We don’t need the Beast to win, we only need her to think that she CAN win.

Let the rat-blood flow in the streets. It will be a good old-fashioned bleeding that might restore some political health to our sickly nation.

The Democrat Party is too smart to let ordinary Democrats choose the nominee. Maybe we could rig the general election so that only intellegent folks can vote. We might get a better government out of it.

She wants the power of her big state wins to influence the super delegates, decisions regarding Florida and Michigan, and even other delegates. She will be calling in all the markers in an effort to do that.

To the extent that her continued efforts in that regard and her continued attacks on Obama to further those goals continue and fracture the dems...I am all for it.

What an utterly ridiculous system it is that the democrat party has created for this whole process, especially for the guys who are always railing against the Electoral College.

I have no doubt they'll dramatically overhaul it after this cycle, because this convention might end up making '68 look like a Boy Scout gathering.

Of course they all knew about it but it makes her more bitter about the process. She will take the party down before playing seconds to Obama. She feels the Presidency is her destiny and Obama is robbing her.

Excellent! ....Going exactly as planned.

Hillary and Obama are poised to spend a bajillion dollars in Pennsylvania - - a bajillion RAT dollars. Aside from the fact that I live in the Philly area and will be barfing non-stop from the TV and radio ad buys, I will know that those ad buys are causing the RATS to flush a bajillion rat dollars down the toilet. I truly hope this rat primary gets really filthy dirty.

She can’t manage them, she’ll attack them unless they vote for her.

Wow. All that time, money and effort expended over a net gain of 0.29% of the total delegates.

Awwww!

How heart breaking!

(I hope this thing goes to the convention with neither of them having a sufficient number of delegates to ensure their nomination and that the Clinton machine then steals it at the convention. Blacks will, at that point, abandon the process in droves.)

delagates will NOT matter. Hillary can manage them.

I hope you're right. Just as long as black Democrats believe that Hillary STOLE the nomination from Obama, that's all that matters.

All this crapola talk of a one-two ticket is just that, crapola. It’s like putting two alpha-male chipmunks in a cage and watching them battle until they tire out.

Personally, I think you should be 35 before you can:
1. Ride a motorcycle
2. Get Married
3. Vote
