Russian bomber aircraft approached a US aircraft carrier off the Korean coast on Wednesday and was intercepted by American fighter jets -- the second such incident in less than a month, US defense officials said.

According to the US officials, a Russian bomber came within three to five nautical miles and flew 2,000 feet above the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier and its accompanying ships. Two US F-18 fighters were launched to intercept the Russian aircraft and escort it out of the area, according to one defense official. (Reuters)

“I guess I’m going to have to vote for McQueeg after all.”

If you would have suggested that I would end up voting for McSane 6 months ago, I would have said, ‘never’. I would write in Hunter before doing that!

However, after watching my top 4 choices drop off....then listening to the plans Hillary & Obama have in store for the country and our troops if THEY win.... I guess my vote won’t be so much FOR him as it will be AGAINST THEM.

As my tag line suggests, I am a man without a party. If it wasn’t for FreeRepublic, I’d have lost what is left of my mind.

“No one is going to shoot them down.”

I was thinking more like an “accident”.
