I believe there are a number of factors that lead to this type of situation.
1. The males in her peer group (i.e. the younger male teachers in her school) are probably for the most part, feminized products of higher academia. As others here have alluded to to, she needs to look at high school males for any modicum of raw masculinity. All the real men her age are in Iraq or Afghanistan.
2. Feminists have long preached the "rape=power" principle. In a *liberated* society, women can now have power relationships over males, and as secularism pushes an amoral belief system, what good is power if not used?
3. Finally, there is always the temptation of "forbidden fruit." Perhaps this woman was otherwise an OK teacher and person, but found herself in a position where she simply couldn't resist the opportunity or the temptation. Even the most moral and devout people can succumb to temptation at different times, but certainly those without any moral compass will fall a lot sooner and more often.
I can remember when I was 14 and I would have been hitting on her just as I did the cheerleaders and every girl that wasn't a total Woofer.
By that time I was 6’ tall and had been shaving for 2 years.
Some laws are just stupid when they offer no latitude for context.
I thank God daily that, imperfect as I am, I do have that moral compass....and His help in keeping it straight.
By the way, I just love it when Rush mocks the young male “metrosexual” voice in his various satires of “commercials”. At the moment he is running hilarious Obama “commercial” satires.
That unctuous metro male voice just makes my skin crawl! How do they learn to talk that way?
