Tarek ibn Ziyad Academy (TIZA) -- named for the Muslim general who conquered medieval Spain -- is a K-8 charter school in Inver Grove Heights. Its approximately 300 students are mostly the children of low-income Muslim immigrant families, many of them Somalis. The school is in huge demand, with a waiting list of 1,500. Last fall, it opened a second campus in Blaine. TIZA uses the language of culture rather than religion to describe its program in public documents. According to its mission statement, the school "recognizes and appreciates the traditions, histories, civilizations and accomplishments of the eastern world (Africa, Asia and Middle East)." But the line between religion and culture is often blurry. There are strong indications that religion plays a central role at TIZA, which is a public school financed by Minnesota taxpayers.

Why are Somalis here?
I’d like to know.
If they are, I'm sure the ACLU will get right on it!
Oh wait...
If this is so, than here’s another one!
“According to its mission statement, the school “recognizes and appreciates the traditions, histories, civilizations and accomplishments of the eastern world (Africa, Asia and Middle East).”
I wonder when Orthodox Divine Liturgies will be chanted in the school for the Christian Arab kids?
Meanwhile, MAS-MN offers on its web site “beneficial and enlightening information” about Islam, which includes statements like “Regularly make the intention to go on jihad with the ambition to die as a martyr.”
“Why are Somalis here?”
Where I live its because the Roman Catholic bishop wants them here (hint, follow the money).
Minnesota reminds me a lot of the Netherlands.
Bumps
Why are they here? That’s easy. It seems that all the Minneapolis cab drivers were allowing their passengers to ride with liquor, pork products and seeing-eye dogs. My God, they weren’t even washing their feet in the airport terminal! So the ever-wise Bill Clinton had to import a bunch of them to straighten that mess up. Also, he wanted to reward them for their actions in Mogadishu against our way-too-warlike military. Lastly, old caring Bubba wanted to make sure I had to to confession often from wanting to shoot them all!
“Are taxpayers footing bill for Islamic school in Minnesota?
If they are, I’m sure the ACLU will get right on it!
Oh wait...”
Amazing I can hear crickets chirp in the dead of winter. :-)
Another islamic stronghold. It’s a recruiting station and the sooner we wake up to that, the better.
Conquest by infiltration. Set up military outposts like this and and mosques in the name of religion and before you know it they’re everywhere.
It’s working in Europe. Now they know they can try it here.
No public funding for traitor schools.
Those wonderful Somali traditions again: female genital mutilation, multiple wives, child brides, inabilty to control anger, etc.
All here and thriving thanks to our immigration sensitivity experts.
More and more we see stories documenting behavior explicitly designed to drain the infidel’s financial resources through abuse of public subisidies.
Named after this maniac OMG! Read his address to this jihadis as they prepared to obliterate Spain:

Thanks for posting. Thanks for the link/education/history lesson. BTTT!
Highlights of my work there include:
1) Being screamed at and lunged at by students when I stated that it was unfortunate that innocent people at a Jewish wedding in Israel were killed by a suicide bomber,
2) Being told by students who were born in Michigan that they were "not Americans" and I was insulting them by calling them Americans, and
3) Attending a staff meeting where a second grade teacher apologized profusely for upsetting parents by giving the students a map of the world where Jerusalem was identified as the capital of Israel
4) Being told by a high school senior that Osama bin Laden was a good person and he couldn't understand why Americans didn't like him.
Thank God (sincerely) I was on to another job when September 11 happened. I heard from teachers still there, that after the terrorist attacks the people of Ann Arbor brought gifts, flowers, food, etc. to the school to show the Muslims that they weren't predjudiced. Typical liberal response: "We are not mad at you for killing our people, because that would be racist! Why don't you go ahead and kill some more?"
After that experience, I assume that anyone who says Muslim Americans are just like you and me has never actually spoken with any Muslim Americans.
The Liberal reaction to this story will be: Demand more taxpayer money for this school as part of a ‘Childrens Cultural Outreach Program’.
The only way to deal with Islam in the United States is to force them, through the legal system, to publicly change one of their religous tenets - making allowable killings conforming to Sharia (Islamic Law) illegal - due to the fact it is a violation of the U.S. Constitution.
Muslims will never agree to it. Then we enforce mass deportations.
Ping.
The enemy came as wolves dressed in sheep’s clothing, on 9/11.
It was supposed to devastate us. WTC, the Pentagon, the White House, Congressional Hill.
But it didn’t pan out properly.
So, now the enemy comes dressed in lamb’s clothing.
Nice idea, but do you REALLY think there would be mass deportation? The government won’t enforce immigration laws regarding illegal Mexicans. And since they openly embrace the Muslim indoctrination, we certainly can expect more of this (tax funded Muslim schools, foot baths in public places, etc)....
Mass deportations? There would probably be no need for that.
Those who are radical would leave, albeit noisily. Those who are criminal would be found and deported while those who just want to live free from Wahabbist pressure would agree to follow our Constitution and stay here, forming the nucleaus for a new sect of Islam.
No risk = no change. We better do somethin and do it soon.

Madrassa won’t raise the flag
