No question mark. Greta Van Susteren says she's holding a copy.

What are they saying over there? I don't want to venture into that den of iniquity (although Spitzer probably hangs out there among other dens). I'm sure what they are saying is all about Republicans.

I feel badly for his family, especially his wife. It’s bad enough going through this as a private citizen (trust me, I know) but to have everybody know about it has to be devastating.

Well, since it's a Federal wiretap, he sure can't use the Linda Tripp defense. /sarc

I did some digging on the internet and found that Spitzer was in DC to testify before a House subcommittee on the bond insurance “crisis”, which was on Feb. 14. Wonder who pays for such trips??

"From now on... the Governor of New York should be referred to as “Client # 9”..."

More precisely as: Democrat Elliot "Client #9" Spitzer, The Former Governor of New York. I want all the news shows to introduce him as such. (Well, we can hope...)

“I feel badly for his family, especially his wife. It’s bad enough going through this as a private citizen (trust me, I know) but to have everybody know about it has to be devastating.”

And to have to stand there next to him while he makes his “apology” speech. She looked terrible.

Elliot Spitzer, like his comrade Nifong, has happily devastated a lot of innocent people's lives. He's only reaping what he has sown.

I'm sure there is a lot of people he's railroaded who are smiling today.

You don't always find justice in a Court.

I’m sure Michigan FReepers like myself are seeing deja vu all over again...I’m having Kwame flashbacks!!

“I did not have text with that woman...”

Kwame hasn’t resigned. I’d be shocked if Spitzer does.

I am jumping for joy! Best thing to happen since I moved back to NY? The opportunity to vote against Hillary! Second best thing: Spitzer’s indictment. Now if they could just put Hillary and her husband away for life, I would be ecstatic!

Here's his full statement from earlier:
"Good afternoon.

"For the past nine years, eight years as attorney general, and one as governor, I have tried to uphold a vision of progressive politics that would rebuild New York and create opportunity for all. We sought to bring real change to New York and that will continue.

"Today I want to briefly address a private matter. I have acted in a way that violates my obligations to my family and violates my, or any, sense of right and wrong. I apologize first and most importantly to my family. I apologize to the public, whom I promised better.

"I do not believe that politics in the long run is about individuals. It is about ideas, the public good, and doing what is best for the state of New York. But I have disappointed and failed to live up to the standard I expected of myself. I must now dedicate some time to regain the trust of my family.

"I will not be taking questions. Thank you very much. I will report back to you in short order. Thank you very much."

Thanks for enjoying this. Not that I am a fan of the pompous jerk, but it won’t mean a hill of beans. We will just get someone worse.

Soon to a theater near us - Cuomo Jr.

Can’t get the smile off my face. Ya think Hannity will go to Dick Morris for comments.

Howie Carr is having the time of his life over this.

Here’s hoping. I don’t yet believe they will indict this democrat person.

This gives the Hildabeast an exit strategy if Spitzer resigns. NY needs her so she’s going to run for governor instead.

Was the $4300 paid out of his election fund?
