LEWIS confirmed that Client-9 would be paying for everything - train tickets, cab fare from the hotel and back, mini bar or room service, travel time, and hotel. LEWIS said that they would probably not know until 3 p.m. if the deposit arrived because Client-9 would not do traditional wire transferring.

And Spitzer just has bundles of $5000 bills to pass around. Where did the money come from? That is where the rubber meets the,....whatever.

Larry Craig, Larry Craig, Larry Craig, Larry Craig, Larry CLarry Craig, raig, Larry Craig, Larry Craig, Larry Craig, Larry Craig.
Spitzer violated a Federal Law, the Mann Act in addition to using a hooker.
His treatment should be comparable to what Larry Craig received for foottapping and commensurately more severe considering the degree of the offense.
I LOVE it when Dems cash and burn

Except that as Attorney General of NY he was busting prostitution rings. Surely you can see the hypocrisy.

That’s the $64,000 question. This guy was clearly mailing large sums of US currency. Where did he get it?

Not that I’m promoting this activity, but wasn’t there an easier way to achieve the goal? Relatively speaking, planning this meeting sounds like the planning that went into the Normandy invasion, and he still got busted.

'zackly.
Where does any public office holder get $5,000 for a quickie ?
Prostitution is almost always mob related, so how many Gumbas knew about this ? Did they find the information useful ?

I have a daughter, so I am anti prostitution. NOT that she would EVER do that. But that if something is so horrible, so evil, that I would not want my daughter doing it, then I really don’t want any daughters doing it and it is ILLEGAL anyway.

Doesn’t this also violate the Mann Act?

I would think cash through the mail would be a lesser to charge of white slavery or taking women across state lines for immoral purposes.
Then there is the source of the funds. Where did the money come from?

“Where did the money come from?”
He’s a bizzillionaire. The better question is whether he got a discount because he was the Attorney General or Governor. Being paid to look the other way, you know.
