My question is, was he using taxpayers monies to pay the prostitutes. If so, is this not illegal.

Ummm, last time I checked the code, prostitution was illegal no matter where the money came from. Did I miss a new law?

Check the wording on the last sentence:

If so, is this not illegal.

The period makes it a sentence, but the word order makes it a (rhetorical) question. I read it the other way around, too, before I saw another post that pointed out my need for adequate caffeine.
