“Segol calls the Alabama retirement home a “sister swastika” to the building in California and says they were both part of a tangled, government-funded conspiracy to honor Nazis.
Segol claims the swastika shape of Wesley Acres in Decatur pays homage to the German scientists who came to nearby Huntsville after World War II and designed the rockets that put Americans on the moon”
What a fruitcake!!!!!!!!!!!!
I very much doubt that this building was laid out purposefully to create a swastika shape. I was probably laid out so each ward was somewhat segregated from the others but still accessible.
Nor airplanes, nor cameras, either.
Therefore, the problem simply didn't exist.
This is the kind of stupidity that you get when the dominant media is obsessed with symbols over substance. Our media is as obsessed with symbols as is any witch doctor.
They should be VERY concerned.
Soooo, no issue for 28 YEARS?
Ridiculous
I am greatly offended by Democrats.
I demand that they be altered.
That’s the trouble with Hitler Youth these days — they never call, they never write....
Offense is in the eye of the beholder. Swastikas, nooses, soon to be...crosses. You watch.
with a tweak here, some shingles, they can go from a nasty old swastika to :-)
No doubt he wears a yarmulke made of aluminum foil.
And has anyone noticed what the Florida peninsula looks like from space? Very hardcore! Must be changed at once!
“soon to be...crosses. You watch.”
Soon to be? Where have you been?
The left has been tearing down crosses all over the US for a number of years.
Let the complainer pay for the building changes.
But one must never pass up an opportunity to take offense.
“So the only way you can see this shape is from a plane? And these people are concerned about this?”
It’s creepy.
To take it out of this context, imagine if the building formed a giant “horned” pentagram (one with the two points “up”) and a circle. And your apartment was in the middle . . .
Just bad karma.
Rumor has it that a 117 year-old Adolf Hitler resides in a room at the nursing home’s “hub”. He reportedly enjoys shuffleboard, apple sauce and the Price is Right.
Indeed. It is funny, and mostly for the same major reason so many other things are funny: it was unintentional.
I read an account a few years back of two cops who were called to an elderly woman’s house because she complained her neighbor was cavorting around his house with no clothes and the windows wide open.
The cops asked the woman to show them, and she walked into her kitchen and said they could look for themselves.
The only windows were a row about 6 feet up near the ceiling. When the cops looked at each other in confusion, the woman huffed and said “Here. Look for yourself.”
She grabbed chair and stood on it to look out the window and said “See? He’s doing it now...”
True story.
