An American woman who levitated, demonstrated paranormal psychic powers and spoke foreign languages unknown to her was clearly demon possessed, according to a board-certified psychiatrist and associate professor of clinical psychiatry at New York Medical College.
The unnamed woman, with a long history of involvement with Satanic groups, was observed by a team of priests, deacons, several lay assistants, psychiatrists, nuns, some of whom also had medical and psychiatric training, levitating six inches off the ground while objects flew off shelves in the same room, according to Dr. Richard E. Gallagher, who documented the case in the February issue of the New Oxford Review.

Demonic possession is not common, but it does happen. And if World Net Daily is reporting this correctly, it was documented in New Oxford Review, by a group of professionals both religious and psychiatric.
New Oxford Review is peer-reviewed as well, which isn’t a guarantee, but since this report goes so much against common belief and political correctness, it’s presumably worth something.
I would suspend belief until learning more, but it’s not impossible. The practice of Satanism leave people open to some very bad stuff.
LOL, actually, you hit the nail right on the head there. I have no convictions on this. As I said, I'm fairly skeptical by nature. Then again, I try to be a good Christian and believe in Jesus. I've also seen some pretty freaky things in my life, and I'm more aware than most that science doesn't have all the answers yet. Heck, science still doesn't have an inkling where the "I" in "I think, therefore I am" really comes from, although there are some interesting quantum mechanics ideas/hypothesis working in this direction. Some seem to provide a framework for a distemporal (i.e., not obeying what we think of as the normal rules of time as we see it on the macroscopic level) interaction of some kind being involved (sounds like a soul to me), some don't. So for me, it's an open issue whether such things as possessions actually happen. Do agree with the author on one thing: All those hyped up exorcisms and the like you see from charismatic charlatans claiming to be pastors while making tons of money off of their flocks are 100% certifiable BS.
One of the side effects of being a victim of a UFO abduction is that you don’t remember the incident. So if you don’t remember ever being abducted by little green men, you’re probably one of the victims.
“Heck, science still doesn’t have an inkling where the “I” in “I think, therefore I am”
They gotta figure out the ‘think’ part before they can figure out the ‘I’ part.
They are better trained to spot fraud than the social workers mentioned in the article.
“They gotta figure out the think part before they can figure out the I part.”
I think (LOL) those two go hand in hand — to solve the one, you must solve the other. Or rather if you solve one, you will have solved the other. Hence, “I think, therefore I am.”
“I think, therefore I am.”
Are you sure it’s not “I am, therefore I think”?
:0)
Let me git this straight.. and NO video camera was available?..
Works for me, but right know, I'll go with, "It's Friday, I think, therefore I want a drink."
I would think it would be more believable if they just broke their restraints and walked out the door.
If it’s from WND, I wouldn’t be surprised if batboy swooped down in a spaceship to save her from the demon.
It’s on FR, too. So what’s your point? Freepers aren’t geniuses either?
I’m just wondering who needs to bad mouth conservative sites?
An American woman who levitated, demonstrated paranormal psychic powers, dated Laz and spoke foreign languages unknown to her was clearly demon possessed, according to a board-certified psychiatrist and associate professor of clinical psychiatry at New York Medical College
For me it’s “It’ Friday,I think, therefore I want to play”...
Gotta gig tonight...
I’ll look for you in the crowd, if you’re up this way..LoL!
:0)
I will venture no opinion on the article itself. I just wanted to separate it from the wretched fruitloopery that is WorldNutDoily.
You could show some critics photos, video or holograms and they would merely move the goal posts and demand additional proof.
I personally find great hubris in the use of the terms "paranormal" and "supernatural," as they imply that we as humans have a masterful comprehension of all that is natural or normal...clearly such is not the case. A few hundred years ago the overwhelming majority of the world's population believed that eclipses were the result of a dragon eating the sun/moon, and today we view that explanation as primative or even foolish. To believe that persons a few hundred years from now will not look at our understanding of nature and find it lacking is vanity of the highest order.
What do you have against WND?
Do they report lies like the NYT?
Explain your objection to WND with facts.
