Terrible! Atlanta is the Delta hub - any problems at Hartsfield?

Poor “Noone.” Was he hurt badly? I had heard that no one (or maybe no-one) was hurt, but I must have heard wrong.

Prayers for everyone involved, and family that aren’t there, too.

I admire their spirit but it might not be a good idea to continue until the structure is checked. Vibrations could shake something loose. Maybe after the next storm has passed and they get an all clear they ought to take the game to the parking lot:’)

I was wondering when CNN would cover the story. Now that their own stupid building has been hit..they have it on the air..(eye roll)

No, not too bad on the north side, but downtown I heard it was around 60 to 65 mph, which is fairly breezy for around here.
I doubt any buildings are down. Maybe some chicken coops.
Yes, we are having a pretty wet evening. We’ll send you some water when Lake Lanier (Atlanta’s water source) recovers. That will be in a few years.

Interestingly the media has seemed to have a spectacular disintrest in extreme weather events for several months - the Super Tuesday tornado outbreak had very little coverage while it was ongoing (though an obvious excuse that time, to a degree.)

Many windows have been blown out, apparently.

There was a pretty serious radar velocity couplet over Atlanta.
