OH MAN turning in episode of Sopranos or the Movie Casino
It was good for business
WHOA! That’s interesting....
Syria helps Iran train and supply Hezbollah...so why is Assad’s brother-in-law involved with assassinating it’s leader?
The plot thickens....
Juicy stuff.
Hmm...I don’t suppose a sincere apology and a firm handshake is gonna cover this one...
It’s a family affair, it’s a family affair ~
1. Shweikat, Assad's intelligence chief meets with American intelligence officer in European country.
2. Mugniyeh finds out about this, claims it's a plot for a coup against Bashar Assad and rats out Shweikat.
3. Bushra (not the Japanese monster, who fought Godzilla, but Assad's sister) gets slapped by said brother, who then accuses sis's husband of plotting a coup.
4. Shweikat then offs Mugniyeh for ratting him out and Bushra takes off to Europe with her kidlets.
Here's where I lose the thread. Where's Waldo, er, Shweikat? Why hasn't he been offed? Why hasn't there been a purge of the intelligence agency to find the other plotters? How could Shweikat get away with murdering Mugniyeh without Assad's approval? What would the Iranians and Hezballah do to Assad for murdering their fair-haired boy, Mugniyeh.
The story is good as far as it goes. But it seems like there'd be more happening, if it were true. This story could be a disinformation op, to split up the evildoers and get them fighting one another.
Wait, ok, the popcorn's done, back to the show.
Rove, you magnificent bastard!
It’s a pretty safe bet that Shweikat is far from alone. >B-)
[and, from Oct 2007]
“The chief spokesman of the Russian Air Force, Col. Aleksandr V. Drobyshevsky, has confirmed in writing for the first time that it was Soviet pilots, in the USSR’s most-advanced MiG-25 ‘Foxbat’ aircraft, who flew highly-provocative sorties over Israel’s nuclear facility at Dimona in May 1967, just prior to the Six Day War.”
