Pardon my ignorance, but what is MLA format?

I was attempting to determine if the date on the document might tell us something. I am a little surprised that this document is on the website you found it on at this point in time. I presume it was posted as some type of propaganda for the terrorists. The only other thing that might make sense is if the document had been lost until recently. I guess I was wanting to see if there was a way to distinguish which way that ball bounced.

Other than the introductory paragraph, if it sounds like a ready to use list of straight to the point one liners (all with citations), it'd be easy to memorize so easy to use, even in response to an unanticipated question.
He could have an aid do a quick fact check, then use the points as the backbone for a number of speeches.
It'd sure be worth a try.
MLA is Modern Language Association. They basically define the proper format for things like research papers, essays, reference citations, etc... They have established a set of rules that define how non-fiction material should be formatted. For example: Indents should alsways be 5 spaces, all text should be double spaced, etc... It seems trivial but for ‘official’ documents its rather important. And if you really study it it’s actually very nit picky about almost everything you could ever type on paper.
