The Senate Dems just had a long caucus meeting following their long phone call with the Gang of Four [as Carl Levin and others pushing a re-vote are called], and the result is that no one moved. Votes aren't there. Thus, it will not go to a vote in the Senate. And barring some other last minute miracle that doesn't involve those four, the governor and Hillary traveling to Michigan, it is dead as a doornail.
UPDATE: State Sen. Tupac Hunter, an Obama supporter, confirms the outcome of today's meeting.
"The caucus has expressed again today that there is concern about the proposal and a great deal of unreadiness," he said, saying that sentiment is still "overwhelming."
"We informed the four great Democrats who have worked very hard to come up with a solution," he said. "It’s one of those things where you can agree to disagree. The question then becomes, What do we do now?"
Bad news for Hillary Clinton and her newest ally El Zibo.
Hillary is just about done, to be honest.
She needed the popular vote and delegates in both states and probably won’t get it now.
They will likely be seated now only after a nominee is established.
He is a bigtime dem. Told me that if Obama is the nominee, he will be voting for McCain.

I'm still not 100% convinced Obama will be the Dem nominee. The delegate math certainly does work against Hillary at this point. She would need multiple 60/40 victories to close the gap.
The next primary is April 22 so that leaves plenty of time for this Pastor Wright thing to go away. However until Hillary concedes to Obama I'm not convinced.
I’ve heard similar stories. Good news. If everything is considered and all the variables taken into account, I can’t see either Rat winning. Unless McCain really screws up and we don’t get out the vote.We must vote for McCain and hold our noses if we must.
It will not be Republicans voting for McCain that make him president over Obama, but people voting against Obama, a huge number of them democrats.
That is if McCain can make it through the race without a melt down... doubtful.
