I slept like a baby too - but the 0330hrs wake-ups seemed to happen no sooner than I closed my eyes.
I'm supposed to get my 'blood wings' after my 'cherry jump' with my unit next month...no sweat compared to what I have been through in life!
I must admit a 'pucker factor' of at least 9.5...but, exiting a C130 probably is close to the 2d best feeling a human being can experience in this lifetime!
Airborne!
Katherine
Congratulations!
Second I have to say that I would be proud to serve with you. . . . . .
THANK YOU for your service and giving the young ladies of today a great role model to look up to. Heaven knows they need it.
Ditto.
I salute you LT from a USN Chief! Thank you so much for joining this important group and congrats on finishing that tough school. Take care of yourself out there Ma’am!!!!

Congratulations very much - my black hat used to say he divorced his first wife, because she was a leg...LOL
The first jump was easy, as I recall. The second scared the snot out of me - I remembered what happened the first time!
Congrats Katherine and thanks for serving your country.
Killer babes from Above, I love it.
Still, it’s not like you were a Marine after all.
Ooooorah!

Good luck to your son he’ll do fine. It’s a tough school especially if you’re not Army.
God bless you and thank you for your service!
Well done, Thornbird :-)
brakes locked up and the sucker flipped.
Congratulations Katherine!!
Seems like we both like the fine idea/quote of John Stewart Mill!
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
