The Arctic seems to be warming up. Reports from fishermen, seal hunters, and explorers who sail the seas about Spitzbergen and the eastern Arctic, all point to a radical change in climatic conditions, and hitherto unheard of high temperatures in that part of the earth's surface.

The article pictured below is the source of this information: From 1922!!!

could not post the article so go to the link and read. Funny how history repeats itself. Of course back then they realixed warmer temperatures were a GOOD THING. Also, we have only had Satellite data since 1979, so when the Branch Algorians tell you Arctic ice is at lowest extent in history, that is the history they are talking about.

Of course you do not hear much about that lately since the ice has reformed to GREATER size than last year at this time. Facts are inconvenient things.

Hoax?

The article is apparently from th Washington Post. It is part of a NOAA archive (PDF) here. It's just one page.

Ruh-roh!

The next decade after this arctic melting in 1922 (the 1930’s)was a rather warm decade, containing 3 or 4 of the warmest years on record (after NASA’s hoaxer Hansen was forced to re-do his rankings when his Y2K error was made public last year).

I sure hope this history doesn’t repeat again in the 2010’s, else the warming alarmist crowd will be insufferable (as if they aren’t already).

The current solar cycle (or lack there of) says you have more to worry from cooling than warming in the future.

The people we now call Inuit or Eskimo were enabled to spread across northern North America due to the warm temperatures from about 900 to 1300. This allowed whales to migrate from the Pacific to Atlantic through the Arctic Ocean. The Inuit followed and lived off these whales.

When temperatures cooled, they were forced to adopt the igloo and sealing lifestyle they’re known for today, a much harsher one than they’d known when things were warmer.

We still aren’t back to the temps or pack ice levels present during the heyday of the Inuit.

The media has no clue about anything scientific. Yet they write articles that explain science to the public. Unfortunately, the media distorts and twists for its own agenda.
