Come on, when the Pope himself does a public televised baptism....on the eve of Easter......to a converting muslim, it's going to be news. It was calculated and the Pope is definitely making a statement. And I love him for it (and I'm not even Catholic.)

Doesn't the Pope baptize someone every year? Doesn't the Pope usually baptize big shots? This guy's baptism would have been news if he was an Anglican. Just like John Major's was.
