LOS ANGELES -- Just days after her release on parole, a former 1970s radical was headed back to prison Saturday to serve at least one more year after corrections officials said a miscalculation resulted in her early release.

Criticism over the early release from prison Monday of Sara Jane Olson, who lived as a fugitive for years in Minnesota, spurred a review of her sentence and the timing of her parole, Scott Kernan, the chief deputy secretary for the California Department of Corrections, said at a news conference. The review revealed that a 2004 miscalculation led to the former Symbionese Liberation Army member being released a year too early, he said.

Did she think it is just fun and games to be a terrorist.?
and her attorney calling us a “fascist state”? Hey, that Beetch can go to a real Fascist State.!

I am so sick of these commies, these priveleged kiddies, who have NO f...g idea of what it is to live under communism or fascism...Hey, Stalin would have had them all shot and their families too.

Sara ought to be kissing the prison ground that she is not killed.

{Later, I’ll tell you how I really feel..}

Just 1 year? Oh well, maybe she’ll be so pissed off now she quits being a “model prisoner” and loses her chances of early parole.

To be out and free, and then to receive a new one year sentence to prison is going to make this the longest year of her life.

Just 1 year?

Actually it could be up to two. I heard on the local news here in Minneapolis that it's one year with "good behavior". Too rich.

Guess she couldn’t afford the “going rate” for Clinton pardons in 2000.

Olson, 61, was detained at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday night and told her right to leave the state had been rescinded.

So close and yet so far....

Accomplice to murder.
Plotting to blow up a police car.
Fugitive from the law for 24 years.
And all she gets is 14 reduced to 6? (now 7) She should
be locked up for twenty, at least, with no early out.

maybe her church going leftist can hold a bake sale for her to raise some hush money.....

this is happy news today...thinking of her smugness as she was about to return to her kingdom in Minn and then having to turn around and go back to jail.....there is a God...

Its odd how they miscalculated this...and you’d figure someone would review every single one of these before getting it “stamped”. I’m betting its not a rare thing and probably occurs over 300 times a year in California.

To be out and free, and then to receive a new one year sentence to prison is going to make this the longest year of her life.

It is not a new one year sentence but a correction to a sentencing mistake by the court. She is thus being held to the same standard as others would be.

While getting out and then heading back in would suck on the psyche I do not feel an iota of remorse for this former terrorist's reversal of fortune.

One year is a good start. A pardon from Obama? He is friendly with both unrepentant Weather Underground bomber Ayers and terrorist Bernadine Dohrn. In corrupt One Party Chicago, these vile, despicable, America-hating criminals work at left wing hives that pass for universities.

I knew that, but I was trying to describe the way it will feel psychologically.

For those of us that don’t want her freed, it is sweet to know that this release and re imprisonment is much, much, much, worse than just serving her sentence without this mistake having been made.

It is almost like her being busted again and receiving a new one year sentence, this next year is going to seem so much longer to her.
