The reason why so many (though again, not all) liberals act this way is remarkably simple. In fact, for all those who’ve become so baffled by their seemingly inexplicable conduct, you may wonder how it has escaped you all these years (probably because it’s so easy to get so frustrated by their conduct that noticing the reason behind it becomes a matter not worth considering). The answer is bigotry. They’re prejudiced. Am I being ridiculous? Is liberalism the new bigotry? No, and yes!

Excellent analysis but it is also conceit: They honestly believe that we conservatives are “stupid”, or worse “ignorant”. I have been running into them all of my life and they will ignore logical arguments, like you over tax me, the economy will be drained of capital, for the emotional argument of “I am my brother’s keeper”.
I have two polar opposite beliefs about many things.
But they’re not all related to politics.
What Yomin Postelnik is saying boils down to this: bigotry is human nature. Liberals have found a way to engage in bigotry, and disguise their bigotry with a smokescreen of accusations of bigotry in others. And the people the accuse of bigotry are the ones who try to demonstrate that they are bigots!
It makes may think of AIDS, which is a disease that attacks the cells that help the body fight against disease.
They're dumb, which is why they're liberals in the first place?

They sure do live in an interesting fantasy land. It’s a shame what they do to their brains.

Relativism is the way “liberals” justify not conforming to a standard of behavior and doing anything they damn well please,
and when the consequences of this behavior “come home to roost”,
there’s always a government program that forcefully confiscates wealth from people making good decisions to pay for the alleviation of those consequences.
I’m teaching my children to reject the words, all of the words, from anyone espousing the absence of an objective truth.
People with no sense of truth external to their own definition are way more likely to deceive you.
Thanks - I think that many times bigotry comes from some minor form of hedonism/narcissim. If people have it, they need to overcome it. Some of it comes from avoidance of logic, a specialty of liberals.
The new “mosaic generation” is being raised to be able to withstand the discomfort of cognitive dissonance.
They are taught to be “comfortable with contradiction”.

When faced with a logical contradiction that invalidates the leftist worldview, you’ll get, at most “how about that...”

My experience has been that they either get really testy, refuse to discuss the topic anymore, or quickly switch to something else.
“Liberals hate facts. Therefore, when you post facts, to them, you’re posting hate.”

Known as the psychological phenomenon of Projection. They accuse you of what they are guilty of, but somehow are blind to the hypocrisy.
