It means you’re going to pay a heckuva lot more greenbacks for whatever it is they’re doing.
After listening to him for over hour... I finally asked, "Are these the same fools that let millions of lumber go up in smoke each year because they won't even let the dead wood be harvested?" End of discussion. :)
Basically, the Sierra Club and their radical friends won’t be happy unless everybody is either (a) living in a cave or (b) penned up in a Tokyo-sized closet apartment in a city high-rise, forbidden to own a car and forced to take mass transit. All this, of course, while THEY, the environmentally “friendly” elite, can live on the fringes of town and take their Priuses out into the woods that only THEY are allowed to enjoy...because the rest of us are too stupid to enjoy nature “properly.”
If they think there’s too many people and too much consumption and pollution, here’s my suggestion. Start with yourselves, weenies. We’ll be sure to bury you somewhere where you can biodegrade back into the ecosystem or better yet, get eaten by scavengers. Circle of life, y’know.

Most "consumers" are completely ignorant of what production is. They think milk just jumps into a bottle, meat wraps itself and goes the store shelfs, and lumber is found as is from old dead trees. Sheesh. You'd think they could at least watch the Discovery Channel and learn a thing or two.
It probably means the Builder has to PAY $5000 just to have a STICKER that says ENERGY whatever.....that’s what a builder in Oregon we’re dealing with told us. He puts “green” products in his homes.....but, he will NOT pay the $5000 for the STICKER. It’s a gov’t scam.
Developers, homebuyers debate what green building’ mean
I will call it for what it is, extortion under guise of enviromentalism.
