HAMMOND, Ind. (AP) - If Hillary Rodham Clinton is feeling heat from pundits and party elders to quit the race and back Barack Obama, you'd never know it from her crowds, energy level and upbeat demeanor on the campaign trail.
"There are millions of reasons to continue this race: people in Pennsylvania, Indiana and North Carolina, and all of the contests yet to come," Clinton told reporters Friday. "This is a very close race and clearly I believe strongly that everyone should have their voices heard and their votes counted."
(snip)
Asked what she thought of Obama's comment Friday that the Democratic primary race resembled "a good movie that lasted about a half-hour too long," Clinton smiled broadly and said, "I like long movies."
The rest of the rats may be jumping a sinking ship but AP will have the Clinton kneepads on until the water crosses their eyebrows.
They’ll have to pry the nomination from her cold, dead fingers.
Absolutely.
You can do this Hillary! You keep running! You keep digging, there's something out there that's going to make Barry VERY un-electable. You've just got to find it.
And don't you let those delegates from FL and MI not get seated! Don't let them be disenfranchised, the D party could lose those states for the next 12 years if someone doesn't stand up for them!
Fight like you've never fought before, baby, and you show them what you're made of on the convention floor. If you have to rip that nomination that's rightfully yours out of Obama's hands, then you do it. We're counting on you!
YOU ARE WOMAN, HEAR YOU ROAR!!!
Called in mid-Feb. She will burn the oil wells - http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1971202/posts
Obama ahead in the popular vote (except if you count Florida and Michigan)-Check
Obama can't get to the magic number of 2024 either before the convention (even if he wins all of the remaining primaries) without the super delegates but Clinton is the one who is hopelessly behind-Check
The Super delegates should vote how their state voted (unless their state voted for Clinton)-Check
Obama was born a muslim, prayed to Mecca as a kid, snorted cocaine, and is a member of a church that is really the Christian wing of the Nation of islum but is more electable than Clinton-Check
Obama stands to lose 7 out of the last 10 contests and hasn't won a major state- his numbers among white voters and especially white male Reagan democrats are in free fall but Clinton should step aside and hand him the nomination-Check
BOY THIS IS GOING TO BE GOOD!!!!!!
After all the talk and the speculation and the analysis, it just comes down to just that...LOL!
She LIKES long movies...LOL!
Well, I don’t see why she should quit either.
Excellent. This is going to be way better than our own sorry-assed convention. I’m not even going to bother watching any of it. Just going to be RINOs and kow-towed ‘conservatives’ telling the world how much they love McCain. I am sure there will be a contest as to who can get their nose the farthest up his butt.
I forgot all about tourist guy.
As much as we all despise da Hildabeast the old gal ain’t afraid of the fight even when the deck is stacked against her...I hope she is a female version of Samson and she topples down the whole dang democrap edifice to dust with herself included.
Oh I wish I wish upon a star....give em’ all a thrill fightin’ Hil.....
If the situation were reversed, would the MSM be discounting the Michigan and Florida primaries, telling the superdelegates to vote with the majority or asking Obama to pack it in?
Interesting how out of favor the Clintons have become with the media...
When -- not if -- She becomes president, our nation's friends and enemies will certainly admire the wisdom of our political system and electorate, whose collective intelligence selected such a great person to head the state.
And she's a congenital liar too. So much in one package.
