You mean this one? I love this song. I just now heard it again:

Artist: Paisley Brad
Song: I'm Still A Guy
Album: 5th Gear Brad Paisley Sheet Music
Brad Paisley CDs

When you see a deer you see Bambi
And I see antlers up on the wall
When you see a lake you think picnics
And I see a large mouth up under that log
You're probably thinking that you're going to change me
In some ways well maybe you might
Scrub me down, dress me up oh but no matter what
remember I'm still a guy

When you see a priceless French painting
I see a drunk, naked girl
You think that riding a wild bull sounds crazy
And I'd like to give it a whirl
Well love makes a man do some things he ain't proud of
And in a weak moment I might walk your sissy dog, hold your purse at the mall
But remember, I'm still a guy

I'll pour out my heart
Hold your hand in the car
Write a love song that makes you cry
Then turn right around knock some jerk to the ground
‘Cause he copped a feel as you walked by

I can hear you now talking to your friends
Saying, “Yeah girls he's come a long way”
From dragging his knuckles and carrying a club
And building a fire in a cave
But when you say a backrub means only a backrub
Then you swat my hand when I try
Well, now what can I say at the end of the day
Honey, I'm still a guy

And I'll pour out my heart
Hold your hand in the car
Write a love song that makes you cry
Then turn right around knock some jerk to the ground
‘Cause he copped a feel as you walked by

These days there's dudes getting facials
Manicured, waxed and botoxed
With deep spray-on tans and creamy lotiony hands
You can't grip a tacklebox

Yeah with all of these men lining up to get neutered
It's hip now to be feminized
I don't highlight my hair
I've still got a pair
Yeah honey, I'm still a guy

Oh my eyebrows ain't plucked
There's a gun in my truck
Oh thank God, I'm still a guy

where do they come up with these ideas

The traditional America you value has been under full assault by the Marxist Left since the 1920s. But it's always operated undercover, manipulating public opinion through established institutions and using patriotic buzz words to hide its true face. "People for the American Way" is a great example, but there are many.

If you want to understand what's happened to the "real" America read and study the following 3 books. Then with your new-found understanding, get out there and make a difference.

"Witness" by Whittaker Chambers.

"In Denial (Historians, Communism & Espionage)" by John Early Haynes and Harvey Klehr

"Blacklisted by History" by M. Stanton Evans.

Good luck -- conservatives of my generation have been steamrollered by Marxists that were deeply embedded in government, the bureaucracy, academia and the media starting in the 1930s. America's schools were lost in the mid-60s when the unions took over and the brainwashing commenced. In the books mentioned, note how unions have always been at the forefront in attempts to undermine and destroy traditional American values.

I hope your generation does better than mine did.

“However, I am GD. (Geographically Undesirable.) ;-)”

Yeah I don’t think of Kuwait City as a hot spot for a first date, LOL!

Kuwait City would be a vast improvement over my current environs right now.

It's noisy in my neighborhood at the moment. Shake-the-buildings noisy.

One of the best things I did when I was in the dating world was to identify myself as a "dittohead." I actually put an ad (at the time it was the cool thing to do), in our local social scene paper and did exactly that...it read something like, DITTOHEAD LOOKING FOR SOULMATE...

I didn't meet my soulmate that way, but I did meet alot of interesting people, one of whom was a Navy Captain who I still keep in contact with today, over 15 years later.

Good luck to you, my friend.

Change means “No Bush!” Doesn’t matter who! These idiots would elect Hitler to get rid of Bush. They have no clue as to what to change. If they say “Need to stop Global Warming Now!” and you ask them when they are getting rid of their car. Silence. Need to stop the war NOW! Will that stop terrorism? Silence. They hate Bush because the media has portrayed him as the Anti-Christ. I don’t blame the media for this, I blame Bush for being gutless in being a real man to destroy these false aligations! Democraps deal in the politics of feelings (hope, getting alone, change) Conservatives deal in the politics of reality (kill terrorists or be killed by them. We cleaned up our country, why can’t China & India) Unfortuniately there are no Conservatives running for President. So date the chick. Use her for what shes worth and dump her! Thats how a Democraps treats people anyways!

I often wonder whether its harder to be an older American with conservative values and principles that has seen the liberal scumbags rise up and sabotage the country...or a 32 year old conservative like myself that is surrounded by a generation of hippie, freeloading wackos who are too stupid to understand the basic tenets of freedom, the Constitution and the common sense solutions that have made the United States the most powerful country in the history of the world.

At the end of the Roman Republic two Roman statesmen fought against the rise of dictatorship. The elder was Marcus Tullius Cicero, the younger was Cato the Younger. They were both killed by the rising power of the future Imperial state. Cicero was appalled by the end of republican virtue 'O tempera, o mores!' Cato was enraged at it. Take your choice.

Through a long set of circumstances, I found myself in an ambulance yesterday with my mom....returning to her rehab center after a doctors appointment. The ambulance driver turned that song way up.... I dont think my mom has heard country music in the 34 days since her accident.... the doctor told her she was headed home next week, but I think hearing that song made her smile too...she asked to turn it up even more.

my brother is 71 and he still thinks that big government is the answer and Marxism will work if only "its done right"

Perhaps his next birthday gift should be an all expenses paid, four week vacation in North Korea. Let's see if he's still a lover of big government, afterwards.

I now have a job that occasionally puts me in a car with the particular generation you seem to be talking about. Their fingers are always flying, talking on the phone, adjusting their GPS, and trying to decide which CD they want to play, but God forbid they ever listen to any news.

Ask them a question about the state of today's world, and if they don't declare they hate politics, but they are a Democrat, they tend to give answers right out of the media talking papers, with information as good as last nights comedy monologs.

That generation is roughly 25 to 40...and woefully under informed.
