Trinity United Church of Christ is building Barack Obama's controversial former pastor a million-dollar Tinley Park home complete with an elevator, whirlpool, butler's pantry, circular driveway and four-car garage, building plans show.
The four-bedroom home being built for the Rev. Jeremiah Wright is in the Odyssey Club neighborhood, which boasts some of Tinley Park's largest homes and a mix of town homes. It backs up to the Odyssey Country Club and golf course.

Barak Obama said on “the View” that his church was just like any other United Church. If that were true, why isn’t Rev. Wrights pension the same as any other united Church ministers?
I can only guess that his salary while he was preaching wasn’t in keeping with the United Churches policies either.
Must need a $1.6 million dollar, 10,400sqft house inside a gated community so he can better understand the problems a poor black man experiences? (see video)

I was looking at your web page, at your section on green collar jobs. Green collar jobs have been a priority in WA State for a few years. The problem is that the tech schools require two years of algebra for admittance. The idea is to train college qualified students to do manual labor jobs because the private industry jobs just aren’t available and an over educated workforce is not a happy workforce.
I am not sure he is a "True Black Man" He is even lighter than Obama.
Also noted on that show that when he was asked about Wright he said something to the effect that if he’d heard “those” comments he would have felt uncomfortable staying there.
That statement hardly equates to leaving the church..
I suppose it depends on state laws, but I can tell you that even an adjacent piece of property owned by a church is not automatically tax exempt, unless it is used for religious purposes. Now, I suppose he could do a home service of some sort once in a while, so who knows.
My, my and to think how much he could have helped Africa
with that money if his heart was right.

Rev J Wright’s mother was the vice-principal (discipline officer) for the most academic girls’ public high school in Philly. His father was a pastor, and he went to the male equivalent of the school where his mother taught. Both were majority white schools. They lived in the area called Germantown - large homes and tree-lined streets.
His career and now Obama’s are the choice to be race hustlers.
I’m sure that BO and HRC believe that - as with everything else - more FedGov bucks will “fix” it.

What Obama believes in is class envy and redistribution of wealth. The collapse of the capital markets would suit him just fine. Then the government would have to move in and restructure everything without the CEOs and top management. Obama would like to take over the Spitzer jihad against Wall Street giants.

“Rev” Wright’s chickens have found a REALLY nice place to roost.
Everyone should read the comments after the story. There were some good ones, including the person who said some of his tax money probably went to pay public assistance for the people who paid into the church.
Also, one person mentioned that a house in that neighborhood ought to cost more than $1 million, and that something was fishy about it.
Then there were the usual blind, idiots who said Rev. Wright was speaking the truth and was a saint. How deluded can people be?

I think this “rev” is as sleazy as they come.
I also think that his “neighborhood” connections are what launched Barry into the world of Chicago politics.
