A member of my staff spent far too much time locating a copy of Michelle (LaVaughn Robinson) Obama's 1985 college thesis, titled "Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community". The paper which is 217 typed pages (double-spaced) and contains 17, 524 words was definitely ...

Author's Note: When I first wrote this series over a year ago, RFFM.org received some criticism about my viewpoint on the issue. In fact, one reader demanded that his name be removed from the e-mail list. Since then, of course, we have become aware, via various media and Internet sources, of a long series of “white guy” blaming from several leftist groups. This non-exclusive list includes Rev. Jeremiah Wright from Sen. Barack Obama’s former church, Father Pfleger also preaching (or rather screeching) from Wright’s pulpit and former (or maybe still) Obama friend--Pentagon bomber Bill Ayers...

This is the first in a long line of blogs that will show that Barack Obama knew that Rev. Wright was a racist, long before the You Tube video clips of Rev. Jeremiah Wright saying "white America, U.S. of KKKA" (among other things) surfaced. Barack Obama, according to his book, "Dreams From My Father," said that at the very first service he attended at Trinity United Church of Christ, and the very first time he heard Rev. Jeremiah Wright preach from the pulpit, he heard the following words spoken by Rev. Jeremiah Wright: Dreams From My Father, Page 293 '"......

The recent editorial assaults on Rev. Jeremiah Wright amount to a virtual "lynching" of him. Fifty years ago the southern white Democratic elite would have used the word "uppity" to describe an outspoken preacher like Rev. Wright. Today the predominently white elite that controls the national Democratic Party probably doesn't use the word, but the recent attacks against Rev.Wright indicates the elite may have the same attitude toward black preachers who disagree with the views of the elite. When politicians associate with white preachers who make comments editors disagree with, the editors criticize the politicians. So why when a black...

He’s baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack. In a press conference held on Monday, Rev. Jeremiah Wright stated that the criticisms made against him and his sermons were truly an attack on the “black church”. Additionally, he fights back against criticism that he is unpatriotic or un- American, statements made against him after his shocking statements regarding Sept. 11. He states that he served his country and thus cannot possibly be anti-American or considered un-patriotic. He then goes on to ask “how many years Dick Cheney served” --- First of all, although serving our country should always be recognized and respected, there is a great...

RFFM.org Commentary If former Republican Congressman J.C. Watts, who is himself an African-American, were running for the presidency of the United States, I would not be asking this question. Watts was and continues to be a conservative who believes in reasonable-sized government and fair taxation. However, I think it is a more than fair question that must be put to Democratic presidential frontrunner Barack Obama. After all, Obama did address the issue during his Senatorial campaign against former Ambassador Alan Keyes. Combine this with the fact it has been reported members of Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ, of which...

Trinity United Church of Christ is building Barack Obama's controversial former pastor a million-dollar Tinley Park home complete with an elevator, whirlpool, butler's pantry, circular driveway and four-car garage, building plans show. The four-bedroom home being built for the Rev. Jeremiah Wright is in the Odyssey Club neighborhood, which boasts some of Tinley Park's largest homes and a mix of town homes. It backs up to the Odyssey Country Club and golf course.See link for the full story.

White House hopeful Barack Obama suggests he would have left his Chicago church had his longtime pastor, whose fiery anti-American comments about U.S. foreign policy and race relations threatened Obama's campaign, not stepped down."Had the reverend not retired, and had he not acknowledged that what he had said had deeply offended people and were inappropriate and mischaracterized what I believe is the greatness of this country, for all its flaws, then I wouldn't have felt comfortable staying at the church," Obama said Thursday during a taping of the ABC talk show, "The View." The interview will be broadcast Friday. In his...

I grew up on the south side of Chicago in the 1970s and 1980s so I have a bit of local interest in Senator Barack Obama’s race for the White House. Obama and his family live in my old neighborhood, Hyde Park. My siblings and I all attended our local public high school – Kenwood Academy. Obama’s wife Michelle went to Whitney Young High School. The city swimming championship was always held there. My older brothers were members of Kenwood’s swim team. Aside from its swimming pool, I never saw much of Whitney Young. It was a magnet school. But...

*snip*Some argue that blacks should vote for Clinton "because her husband was good to us," he continued. "That's not true," he thundered. "He did the same thing to us that he did to Monica Lewinsky." *snip*
