See, anybody can write an editorial using depth thinking. The idea is to nominate Barack even though he doesn't know much, because he is good looking and can give a speech.
What was that about feminism I hear in the background?

...Democrats are coming around to the point Jay Rockefeller made 10 days ago after introducing Obama in West Virginia: Democrats always make a mistake by nominating people who know everything on earth there is to know about public policy. I introduced both Al Gore and John Kerry at their rallies. They knew all the policies, but people didnt connect with them. You dont get elected president if people dont like you. And also provide free chicken picnic dinners as Rockefeller does every 6 years.
The people of WV can be bought off so easily.

Good thing for MoDo that the NYT’s does not also realize when someone has overstayed their welcome.

Quite a few younger folks would probably rather see someone like the Forest Gump character elected than their mothers'/grandmothers' candidate (America's ex-wife and mother-in-law).

The people who spent eight years making apologies for the Clintons have now abandoned them. They’re idiots for Obama, just as they were idiots for the Clintons.

I would imagine Hillary was attracted to “The Wizard of Oz” by a strong female role model. And I don’t mean Dorothy or Glinda.

The message wasn’t “Surrender, Dorothy.” It was “Surrender Dorothy.”
To: shrinkermd
The article and title are even stupider than that. The sky-written phrase "Surrender Dorothy" in the "Wizard of Oz" was directed at the people of Oz, as in "Give Dorothy to me" -- it was not a command to Dorothy to turn herself in.
It was originally written to be "Surrender Dorothy or die - WWW" but that was apparently too big for the screen.

Hillary sunnily riposted that she likes long movies. Her favorite as a girl was The Wizard of Oz, That makes Obama the Horse Of Another Color. (I know, that's racist.)
