After they were ratted on by the boy, they fought a running battle with the Iraqis in which they killed hundreds of men. Their mission was to destroy some remote communications equipment that would not have even involved any casualties.
So if they would have killed the kid, they would have saved their own lives, and many of enemy lives as well.
Well, they made a liar out of me today...another MOH awarded.
