Perhaps the McCainiacs need a hotline to call so they can spew their venom at us. Sort of like Sean Hannity’s “Hate Hannity Hotline”. That way, they can vent their spleen and maybe feel better about themselves. I think it would be therapeutic, and can avoid threads like this one.
In the fine McCain tradition of shutting down free speech when the speech exposes you, hats off to McCain/Feingold and later his full support of the “Fairness Doctrine”.
You can say “SHUT Your Stinking TRAP!” legally then. And you helped. You make McCain so proud........RINO’s everywhere, and so many who vote like good little GOP robots!

I don’t hate McCain. I’m just concerned he would be a disaster as president. The article listed none of my concerns. McCain favors massive taxpayer subsidies for illegal aliens. McCain opposed the Bush tax cuts and voted against them and only now when he is campaigning does he say he was wrong. McCain supports massive carbon offset taxes to fight global warming which is a scam. McCain undermined the attempt to appoint conservative judges by helping to create the “gang of 14”. I sincerely hope McCain will admit he was wrong and change his views. He has done this to a small degree on McCain-Kennedy and tax cuts but it still worries me that he would be a terrible president.

He is NOT a conservative he is not even a moderate republican.
He is left on so many issues to make him almost completely unpalatable....
....his only saving grace is that his 2 opponents are so damn communistic as to make McCain look like Barry Goldwater in comparison.

Vote for McCain and hope he rises to the occasion on some important issuers. Or don't, and hope the ensuing all-Dem all-the-time nightmare produces a Reaganesque reactionary hero years down the road, and that the Dem damage hasn't been irreparable. I'm voting for McCain.

I don’t hate McCain, but conservative, ethical, honest, and decent he is not. Just because he is least of the worst, does not mean I have to like, agree with, or support him. He’s nothing more than the turd that floated to the top of the bowl.
There is not much alternative at this point. Grousing about the clear nominee does nothing of any use to anybody. Maybe they have their own candidate and maybe their own candidate will get enough votes in Nov to rate somthing more than a goose egg, but probably not. It’s the world, and it’s not perfect as we were told it should be when we were three years old.
