I don’t consider lone nuts like Kaczinsky (spelling?) in the same league as an islamic terrorist, who in all probability is part of an organized cell, and thus far more dangerous (financing, logistics, etc. are usually provided). Besides, Kaczinsky was more of an iconoclast than an eco-warrior. He hated big business in general, and despised authority. And, what about the UT professor (actually, I thought he was from Georgia Tech, but in all candor I can’t remember)? Has that murder even been solved yet? I don’t remember anyone being arrested for it, or any objective proof of a motive.

Eco-warriors tend to be cowardly wimps, anyhow. They are driven more by the “coolness” of their actions than by any commitment to a sacred cause. And they always tend to be hit and run sneaks. The islamic bad guys, on the other hand, though cowardly in their own way, are far more disciplined and dedicated to their cause, and often do not hesitate to get right up in your face when they attack.

Eco-warriors are playing sandlot softball compared to the major league hard ball the islamic nuts are playing.

Anyway, that’s my opinion.

Thanks for the reply OS.

You make some good points. I certainly don’t want to downplay the danger of Islamic terrorists, after all they killed 3,000 Americans in one day, and hope to do it again.

It was chilling to hear Ingrid Newkirk (PETA founder) say, as the Hoof and Mouth disease was spreading through Europe, that she couldn’t wait for it to arrive in the U.S.

So, some of these people do view their cause as sacred. It’s just my opinion from reading extensively about the AR movement here and in Europe that the time is coming when these freaks will eventually commit some violent and fatal acts.

And these same have some major funding behind them.

I agree with your post.

Of course we shouldn’t ignore the eco-freaks, we should still be after them. They do kill people and are at all times a huge nusiance. But they aren’t the large-scale threat that the muslims terrorists are.

They want to kill thousands... Millions if they can. They intend (and have the ability) to change the American way of life. Blow up enough malls, topple enough buildings, create enough panic and they could win.

The eco-freaks aren’t that kind of threat.
