Here is the text of the message I just sent, along with an image of the ad:
As a proud U.S. citizen, I just cannot sufficiently express my Absolut outrage that your company would dare to use such an offensive anti-American image for marketing purposes, as it has apparently done in your Mexican marketing campaign. The map below is a pure effort to incite and inflame Mexican citizens to view the USA as an occupier of Mexican land, and to encourage resentment and anger at the USA. To legitimize and exploit such an affront to Americans is appalling beyond words.
Absolut Vodka used to be a staple in our family liquor cabinet. But not anymore. From now on, my wife and I are switching to Ketel One, and I am encouraging my friends and my extensive e-mail contact network to do the same. Shame on you. I hope you lose twice the market share in the USA that you gain in Mexico.
Whatever were you thinking?
Why not take a moment to send something similar? Be sure and stick to the issue, which is the offensive ad, and try not to mention how you wouldn't drink Absolut Vodka anyway because it burns like Chlorox when it goes down.
Also, maybe forward a copy, or a relevant article/thread, to your appropriate e-mail contacts.
Absolut Spirits and its Swedish parent V&S Group cannot be allowed to get away with this, IMHO.

Is that an actual ad? It's linked to photobucket on this thread.

Do you have a link to the actual ad or some confirmation?
Why have English in one part of the ad and spanish everywhere else?

Switch to Tito’s Vodka.
It’s won all the big awards and is made in Texas.

My message short and sweet - Absolut in my household? Absolutely NOT! Hope you get a lot of Mexicans to drink your stuff because a LOT of Americans won't be drinking it, thanks to your advertisement.

The map makes the U.S. look like a pistol! We need to put more of those pistols on our side of the boarder.

Amazing that you all are "threatened" by a vodka ad, that basically states in a drunken dream(by drinking Absolut) that pre-American-Mexican war borders would be reinstated.
Absolut played you all(reactionaries) like a violin and is getting tons of free publicity(there is no such thing as bad publicity)from a small and reletively cheap ad.
Brilliant on their part. Gasbags Hannity and Beck will be giving Absolut tons of free publicity over this.

I used to drink Vodka, but never quite felt myself the next day.
Then I stopped drinking Absolut and started drinking Kettel One, and now I feel fine the next day after one or two martinis.
Absolut must be the Bud of Vodkas.
