When you value symbolism over substance anything is possible.

Unicorns, fairies, honest politicians, LA without murder.

All you have to do is BELIEVE!

Yes, but the important thing is that the community activists feel that it worked according to plan.

The stupid liberals couldn’t figure it out that the murderers and theives aren’t watching the news and probably have no idea they weren’t supposed to do any shootins’ and killins’ until the moratorium is over.

Two murders during a 40-hr period is just about par for a city with over 600 murders a year.

I can’t understand why those murderers don’t honor the city council resolutions.

Maybe there would be fewer murders if criminals were in jail instead of on the street. Just a crazy thought.

The Los Angeles city council proposed a murder moratorium? as a New Yorker I always believed that the NYC council was the dumbestgroup of elected politicians extant. This act in LA exceeds all of NY’s insanities. I’d like to say something more specific about this but I just don’t know where to start.
