The Penn maneuver is a sham. He will be providing input without going to the office - a lot like a manager tossed from a MLB game coaches by shouting down the hallway to the dugout.
The MOST annoying apect of this, IMO:
Penn said he had made an “error in judgment” meeting with Columbians while working for Hillary. This elicited a comment from the Columbia honcho that Penn’s statement was an “insult” to the Columbian people.
Yeah, sure-—like all we have to do is feed the self-esteem problems of these Third Worlders wallowing in self-pity.
They screwed up their own corrupt countries, and now American are supposed to shower then with praise AND US tax dollars.
This seems to be the only way they can live with themselves-—by feeding off US taxpayers.
Did anyone catch Lanny Davis on Fox? I missed it but he apparently went on a tirade with Gretchen...I only heard the ending when he told her they should change their tease. Gretchen dismissed him rather curtly.
Hillary in full throttle mode today saying she will toss more money into breast cancer research...touching the soft spot of voters and actually trying to make people feel like she cares.
It is amazing how much bad advice Hillary gets, because everybody loves Hillary. Getting people to vote for her should simply be a matter of putting her name on the ballot. Most people have been waiting their whole lives just for the chance of voting for Hillary Clinton.
How Mark Penn can screw up a deal like that is beyond human knowing...
But not financially! He (his consulting firm) has gotten (according to published sources) 4.3 mil from Hillary so far and has another 1.3 mil coming! Not bad for about 9 months work if you can get it.

I’m no South American expert but I believe Columbia is our ally and firmly against the spread of leftist power from its neighbors Venezuela and Ecuador. I would hesitate to slag Columbia in this regard.
Update 8:20 AM: Why Hillary’s Hospital Story Matters
My two cents on the phony Hillary hospital story. It’s not just that she’s been caught telling another whopper. It’s her excuse that really hurts her. She claims that she was passing along a story that had been told her by a deputy sheriff.
Oh, so Hillary made a mistake by relying on . . . false intelligence? Hmm, doesn’t that undercut one of the main themes of her campaign? Isn’t this The Woman Ready From Day One, who wouldn’t make the same mistakes W allegedly did and that hoodwinked her into voting for the Iraq war?
I’m sure there’s something that they’ll be pinning on him. If there weren’t, they’d keep him. If they eleminated all of the corrupt people on their team...well, you know.

Actually, Lanny savaged her. He was obviously there this morning to have a fight. He beat up a girl.
She was not able to effectively counter his repeated demand for Fox to change the tease on the healthcare article.
Had Gretchen gotten the best of him she would have asked.....” Lanny, now that it seems clear you job as a Clinton aparatchick is soon to be over, what are your plans?”
I witnessed his tirade. I thought Gretchen handeled it with a lot of class.
