When, and if, it comes time to look for a running mate, Barack Obama will be looking for "somebody who knows about a bunch of stuff that I'm not an expert on.'' This was the senator's word at a closed-door fundraiser last night in San Francisco, the Huffington Post reports. Obama fielded a question on what he's looking for in a running mate, HuffPo''s Mayhill Flower writes. "I would like somebody who knows about a bunch of stuff that I'm not as expert on," the senator is quoted as saying. "I think a lot of people assume that might be some sort of military thing to make me look more commander-in-hief-like. Ironically, this is an area--foreign policy is the area where I am probably most confident that I know more and understand the world better than Sen. Clinton or Sen. McCain.

That won’t be difficult to find.

Hilarious. The VP candidate needs to know everything then, because Omaba is so ill-suited for the office he aspires to, it is ridiculous.
I have noticed lately that when asked questions off the cuff, he’s starting to stammer a little. He’s getting in over his head.

FWIW, I have less of a prob with what he said than how he said it. And I only have a prob with that because of Obama’s alleged articulance :)

I think a lot of people assume that might be some sort of military thing to make me look more commander-in-chief-like. Ironically, this is an area--foreign policy is the area where I am probably most confident that I know more and understand the world better than Sen. Clinton or Sen. McCain. This guy has been toking way too long on that Mary Jane or some other stuff if he thinks he knows more about the military and foreign affairs than McCain.
Of course, when looking at the world through his Black Liberation Theology colored glasses and their view of the world, he may have a point. But that has nothing to do with the best interest of the United States of America or her people.

The U.S. government employs millions of people who know a lot of stuff.
Obama should be looking for someone who could be President, if the need arises.
I remember how the MSM pilloried GWB, when he said that he'd hire advisers who knew about foreign affairs.
To: TornadoAlley3
Obama seems to rise above the hue and cry of the struggling, great unwashed masses. As he brings us all together in blissful unity, as he transends the mundane details of common governance and leaves all the petty details to underlings who 'know a bunch of stuff.'
I've never felt so proud of my country! I'm so inspired! I'm voting for Obama!

300 million people in the country. When you exclude the foreign-born and those under 35, that still leaves more than 100 million who meet Obama’s criterion.

McCain isn’t perfect by any means, but Obama trying to claim he knows more than Clinton AND McCain on foreign policy? McCain has forgotten more foreign policy than Obama has even thought of.
I hope he tries that one in the fall.

and I am sure she knows that you put your hand over your heart when the National Anthem Plays... and she knows that wearing a flag pin on your lapel to commemorate the victims of a war that was waged on the U.S. is an honorable and patriotic thing to do that no words can do justice to..... and she knows that if her friends have an audience and they are spewing hate filled messages that are out right lies that she is judged not by the words the friend used by by the lack of action on her part in correcting the friend so she does the honorable thing and corrects the friend and if the friend refuses to listen she then disassociates herself from the friend because she loves her country. Yes I am sure Obama could learn much from that little girl or any patriotic American for that matter....
