Interview with Senator Bill Nelson(D-FL)["there could be “blood on the floor” in Denver"]
WPTV Newschannel 5 West Palm Beach ^ | April 7, 2008 | Eric Glasser and Eric Pasquarelli

U.S Senator Bill Nelson (D) Fla., spoke about a number of issues facing Floridians today. At his office in West palm Beach, Senator Nelson discussed a possible solution for the democratic delegate issue – and voiced concern that if something wasn’t done soon to reach a compromise there could be “blood on the floor” in Denver during this year’s Democratic Convention.

Senator Nelson also believes there’s still a chance to help people feeling the pinch from the current housing crisis. Low-interest loans – even federal bond issues to help states encourage banks to negotiate with non-speculators.

As hurricane season approaches, Senator Nelson says FEMA has come a long way but still lacks a plan to help Floridians displaced by a storm with short and long-term housing alternatives. He says he’s been pushing hard for FEMA to deliver him their plan, but that with less than two months to go before the start of another storm season, Nelson says they’ve yet to put that plan on his desk.

And this week, the senator says he will head a committee on Capitol Hill looking into a dark and disturbing allegation being made in Iraq. Women, working for private U.S, contractors, he says, have been drugged and raped – only to find their allegations swept under the rug. Nelson say he expects there will be dramatic testimony from victims this week, and he wants those responsible for these attacks brought to justice.

The state did just fine with 4 hurricanes in 2004. We don't need Sen. Nelson acting like a filthy pork pimp throwing money around.

Nelson is a traitorous punk. We have the chicoms drilling off of our coast and he locks up the surrounding waters to any drilling.

We need natural gas more than ever. If we had some production platforms and gas cleanup facilities in our state we could run our cars on natural gas and use coal and nukes for electricity. The hell with buying oil from anyone.

I don’t want figurative blood. I want to see real blood. I want to see punches thrown on the floor. I want to see dentures fly.

I believe Nelson perceives the situation correctly. I would add that I see a supernatural element in this whole scenario. I cannot conceive a more unlikely set of circumstances.
The calculating nominatrix had her inevitability factor. Up jumps Baraq (probably just to get himself some exposure — who knows? maybe the VP designate, maybe a chance to run in o12 or o16. Then, whambo! he caught fire! Did he ever! the nominatrix went into 8 different panic modes, and none of them worked.
5 Republicans, each polling equally at around 19%, then one of them, McCain, fared 10 or so points better in SC and FL, and the Pubs had their man.
That was Feb, I think, and we had a frontrunner. It was then that Nelson uttered a phrase I will never forget. It still resonates with me today. He said, “McCain is our worst nightmare.” I took that to heart, and decided to get behind the least likely of all the Republicans, but the only one who could drive the Dimowits to distraction.
Since then, I’ve been enjoying the ride.
The supernatural aspect? I think that either Baraq or the nominatrix would have sold Israel out for 20 pieces of silver, a handful of magic beans, a chance for a Nobel prize, you name it. But McCain won’t. And the One who holds Israel as the apple of HIs eye will not countenance the selling out of that sacred inheritance. I believe it is that simple — just like, and eerily similar to, the times when Israel’s enemies (such as the Midianites or the Syrians), inexplicably became confused and started hacking their own to pieces. Eerie similarities. That’s why I adduce the supernatural here. It is utterly fascinating. I’m glad I’m alive to see it!

If Nelson and Clinton steal the win from Obama, they’ll be blood on the street of American cities. Nelson needs to follow the vote rather than shilling for Hillary.

re: “blood on the floor” at the DNC

We can only hope..... a civil war among the Demagogues makes it harder for them to spare the energy to continue their work on the destruction of our country.

All this talk of the “housing crisis”. What about the ever increasing property tax evaluations and tax hurden?

Nelson couldn’t get enough face time on TV because the news people already know he is in campaign mode 24/7 and says nothing new so much so, that even when he plays the 2-year old act of stamping his feet and pronounces that there will be “blood on the floor”, the audience yawns and wonders if he has Alzheimers.

If the Dems implode there will be room for a true Conservative to move into the gap without worrying about taking the vote away from the RINO. The window to get a real Conservative out there as a third party is narrow. We must have the courage to try. We cannot continue to see things in terms of politics as usual. Our future is at stake and the future of our children. In the very least we must let our voice be heard. There are lots of variables out there right now. Let’s do what we can and trust the Lord to turn providence in our favor.
