It is now “Brevity: « Headers » | Text” on the blue bar just above the listing.
well I’ll be darned. That was too easy. Thanks!
I don't think that I've ever been on a website that didn't have a "home" or "home page" link to click on and labelled as such.
I'm glad that "search" is finally labelled. Navigating FR will not be easy for newbies, believe me. Every single thing doesn't have to be spelled out, of course, but certain basic things do.

That did it! Thank you!
John said the marquee was “evil” I don’t know why. I liked using it in my profile page.
John will we eventually be able to find our State Page again? The only way I can access it now is if a message comes up from a person in the State.
Also, regarding "Add to my Page" (a better title might be "My Page Layout"), I have been following the comments of a particular FReeper, and those comments (titles) are configured into my sidebar. Your dad taught me how to do this, but now I can't remember how I did it. How do I delete this feature, or - better yet - change from following the comments of one FReeper to following comments of another or multiple FReepers? Thanks...
“John will we eventually be able to find our State Page again?”
From the top line on the forum screen, click on “account”. One of the options is “My Locale”. Follow that to your state message board.
trg
I knew that but when I click on "My Locale" now, all I get is a funny box and above that are the words "other locations" "set my locations" "new prototype--Alpha Version. I just went there again and realized "new prototyp--Alpha Version" was highlighted so I clicked on that and then found the list of states. Before the Alpha Version was an option, but I guess that is what I have to use now, because it is not there like it used to be.
I like the color differentiation on the comments pages and the tab choices on the forum pages. Those are very handy.
Sometimes when you introduce changes, the lingo doesn’t penetrate my brain right away, but it’s fun discovering what they are because I have been liking them.
You are amazing, John! I know a little html and that makes you even more incredible. Phew! I couldn’t touch this.
Sorry I killed the thread.
Green is good.
You mean it's SUPPOSED to look like that???!!!
ON PURPOSE!!!???
“You might try adjusting the white to an off-white through your WinXP Desktop properties >> Appearance >> Advanced.”
I already know about that option. For everything but IE I have that set to a dark beige.
Please don’t suggest that I toggle back and forth when visiting various webpages. :-)
“Get into IE7s settings and change the background and font colors ON YOUR MACHINE.
Id tell you how in detail but Id have to figure it out myself again, first. You can do that.”
I already know about that option but that would change the settings for every page of every website I visit. Most sites realize how harsh white is and have used some other background color. Changing the settings ON MY MACHINE would ruin all sites I visit.
Sometimes I actually want to see the graphics and backgrounds on some sites.
Please don’t suggest that I toggle back and forth each time I visit certain webpages. :-)
I suppose John could take a poll.
But clearly one size is not going to fit all.
I personally prefer John’s judgment and preferences hereon to any other site I commonly visit.
Luv, you can check in ‘preview’ if the links are working. I can see it would be work when posting a number of them though.
