I hate Rush Limbaugh
The State Hornet: U. of California, Sacramento ^ | 4/9/08 | Galen Kusic

Posted on 04/09/2008 6:27:30 AM PDT by rface

I'm a journalist with the truth and if you listen to or follow him, you've been duped.

"El Rushbo" (as he refers to himself) is a disgrace to the media, journalists, broadcasters and the HUMAN RACE. Period.........

For all of you that have ever been forced against your will to listen to Rush in a work environment or with an elderly relative, your parents or even a fellow church member...I feel your pain. Most of us have been there - all you can do is fight it and let the garbage go in one ear and out the other.

Who takes this guy seriously? If you believe anything Rush says, you need to have a mental evaluation. This guy hasn't made sense - once. If you are a close-minded, bigoted, ignorant citizen of this country, then Limbaugh is the guy for you!

Let me tell you why he's the guy for you. For one, he's racist as hell. A great example of this can be displayed by one acronym - ESPN. The week Limbaugh worked there made me lose much respect for a network that used to be the authority in sports news. Whoever hired Limbaugh was obviously out of his or her gourd, to say the least.

In the span of that week, Rush managed to piss off an entire nation with his backwards bigoted comments about Donovan McNabb and how black quarterbacks get too much credit "because the media wants them to succeed."

Now, Limbaugh is at again with his racist comments, and keeps referring to Illinois Sen. Barack Obama as "The Magic Negro." Limbaugh tries to justify this by referring to an article written in the L.A. Times last year referring to how Obama has basically come out of relative obscurity to now be looked at as the possible "savior" for this country.

How in the hell can Limbaugh live with himself, making these comments? And why has NO ONE called him out on this? His racist ideals and beliefs are sick - and he's far too ignorant and stubborn to recognize his extreme white superiority complex and privilege.

In fact, Limbaugh had the nerve to say that Obama had never faced any "kind" of discrimination and never experienced or fought for any civil rights causes. Only a fool like Limbaugh could make such ridiculous statements that he himself has no real knowledge of.

Rush basically represents a demographic of people in this country that don't like to use their brain, and think bigotry and ignorance is the answer to the country's problems.

Above all else, this lame is probably still hooked on Oxycontin. Basically a synthetic version of heroine, in 2003, Limbaugh announced that he had been addicted to painkillers for "some time now" after having spinal surgery in the past. This went down just weeks after resigning from ESPN, and his name came up in a drug-ring in Florida, but no charges were ever formally filed.

All this ever said to me was, no wonder this fool says the crazy statements he does! He's higher than an elephant's eye! I don't judge a person for their drug problems, let alone other problems in life. But when you make a living on attacking everyone else and acting holier than thou - light needs to be shed on the subject.

Rush Limbaugh is as dirty, sleazy or corrupt as any politician, CEO or bookie out there. He just has protection through the first amendment, and unfortunately 20 million fans that will loyally follow him no matter how low he stoops.

Here is just an example from the official Rush Limbaugh website of how twisted and sick this sorry excuse for a man and his wannabe cult really are:

"The Rush Limbaugh Show is the most listened to radio talk show in America, broadcast on over 600 radio stations nationwide. It is hosted by America's Anchorman, Rush Limbaugh, also known as: America's Truth Detector; the Doctor of Democracy; the Most Dangerous Man in America; the All-Knowing, All-Sensing, All-Everything Maha Rushie; defender of motherhood, protector of fatherhood and an all-around good guy.

There is a "consensus" among the American people, who have made this the most listened to program, that it is also the most accurate, most right, and most correct.

People who disagree with this are "Rush Deniers."

I guess that makes me a "Rush Denier." In fact, just call me the "Anti-Rush." I'm Rush-proof. I'm a journalist with the truth and if you listen to or follow him, you've been duped.

"El Rushbo" (as he refers to himself) is a disgrace to the media, journalists, broadcasters and the HUMAN RACE. Period.

I had more respect for Rush in the past than now. I find I rarely listen lately.

It’s articles like this that tell Rush that he’s won. His job is a success.

That was written by a person who hears sounds but does not listen.

A person who lets others tell him what was said.

Oh, well.

Boo-hoo! Did the author ever hear of an on-off switch? I don’t listen to Rush Limbaugh either, but I would certainly prefer him over anyone on Air America or the major networks.

I love Rush.

He's the only person I know who has never let me down.

Rush is not as entertaining as Beck, but Rush is correct in most of the things he says, and there’s a reason the market has loved him so long- he’s simply the best at what he does, which by the way he and Roger Ailes invented.

If I wrote a piece this poorly, I would be embarrassed to have it published.

One could write a column highly critical of Rush Limbaugh in grown-up English, the content of the article is really beside the point.

I listen to Limbaugh every day....lately, my agreements with him are fewer than in the past -- but he is the King for good reason.

Maybe if he talked more about golf.........

Galen’s professional photo says it all! Poor Galen the Lib only read part of the Demanual and skipped the “love everyone for who they are” chapter.
