I’m confused. For years, the democrats and their media have been asserting that George Bush caused all this.

Here is another one .

Among them, the prospects of more heat waves that are of special danger to the elderly and the poor; more incidents of extreme weather posing a danger of drought in some areas and flooding in others; increase of food-borne and waterborne infectious diseases; more air pollution because of higher temperatures; and the migration into new areas of vector-borne and zoonotic diseases such as Lyme disease, West Nile virus, malaria or dengue fever as seasonal patterns change.

School closures?!?! "Yeeeesss! Temp's up .000008 degrees today -- no school!"

Wasn't there one recently about chocolate makers in Europe blaming GW for bad batches of chocolate or some such? Maybe it's buried in the list somewhere already, but I could swear I remember reading about it here.

“Ahh yes, the Elderly, Children, and the Poor. How original.”

Exactly. Wanna find a reason to be alarmed about something(anything)? Pull up stats about the elderly, children and poor. Everything adversely effects them more than the rest of us. Want to stop it? Go ahead and try, but they have been killed off under any given set of circumstances in greater numbers than those that fall outside those catagories long before “global warming” came along.
