Who was the author who wrote the book about the WMD’s that were found in Iraq?
I forgot the author & I forgot the name of the book.
But if I heard them, I would recognize them.

“Bush Lied about WMD”.....

Has become a "FACT" by constant use and unchallenged reference just like the "Clinton lied about sex" Impeachment reference.

The power of the MSM have made both statements a "fait accompli".

Gust Avrakodos, Wilson's partner-in-crime, thought that he as a spy was at his best when he accomplished his mission and the press was convinced he had failed. Therefore, "bad press" for CIA operations was often an indicator that, in fact, they had achieved all their goals.

Effective in the short term but disasterous politically in the long term because the public loses trust in the administration trying to protect them.

Saddam’s WMD Moved to Syria, An Israeli Says

By IRA STOLL
Staff Reporter of the Sun
December 15, 2005

Saddam Hussein moved his chemical weapons to Syria six weeks before the war started, Israel’s top general during Operation Iraqi Freedom says.

The assertion comes as President Bush said yesterday that much of the intelligence on Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction was incorrect.

The Israeli officer, Lieutenant General Moshe Yaalon, asserted that Saddam spirited his chemical weapons out of the country on the eve of the war. “He transferred the chemical agents from Iraq to Syria,” General Yaalon told The New York Sun over dinner in New York on Tuesday night. “No one went to Syria to find it.”

From July 2002 to June 2005, when he retired, General Yaalon was chief of staff of the Israel Defense Force, the top job in the Israeli military, analogous to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the American military. He is now a military fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. He made similar, but more speculative, remarks in April 2004 that attracted little notice in America; at that time he was quoted as saying of the Iraqi weapons, “Perhaps they transferred them to another country, such as Syria.”

The Israeli general’s remarks came on the eve of Mr. Bush’s speech to the Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington, in which the president addressed the issue of intelligence and defended the decision to go to war. “When we made the decision to go into Iraq, many intelligence agencies around the world judged that Saddam possessed weapons of mass destruction. This judgment was shared by the intelligence agencies of governments who did not support my decision to remove Saddam. And it is true that much of the intelligence turned out to be wrong,” Mr. Bush said in remarks that were one of a series of speeches he has given recently on the war.

I would love to believe this report, but this news story has now been out since April 7th, and nothing else has been reported on it. All we have is small blurb from the Jerusalem Post. Until we something more definitive, can’t view this information as credible.

Don't judge the accuracy of a report by the willingness of the press to cover it. As we've seen, normally there is a inverse correlation between facts and reporting.

Even on this thread, there are people still insistent there were NO WMD!!!

Of course there are. Ron Paul, the DNC and ABC News told them so.

At this point, who cares what they think. They're married to the lie, they're not going to budge. Screw 'em.

maybe a sop to Israel validating its attack on Syria, in exchange for Israel making nice and giving the terrorists the Temple Mount and half of Jerusalem

Ugh, you're probably right. There was an article out yesterday about relinquishing the Temple Mt.

The most promising, without being very promising, scenario

I’d surely like to see that happen. But, with the MSM being complete leftist tools and the left itself being complete squirrels, it’s hard to imagine. The left have become more than insane if that is at all possible. Jessie Ventura claiming 9/11 was the government at work - spouting the same insanity as Rosie O and Moveon.org. They all would be laughable if they weren’t so annoying.

I’m not viewing the unwillingness of the press to not cover it as my reason for skepticism. The report from US-Israel on the Sept 4th attack hasn’t even come out yet. Why would the press print a story about a rumor that was released on the JP? Rumors are all over the Internet, no matter which story it is. All I’m saying is until an actual report comes out from the US-Israel that’s says exactly what this so called rumor is saying...I will be very skeptical.

In an interview that appeared in Thursday’s New York Sun, Gen. Sada confirmed that Saddam had spirited his weapons of mass destruction out of the country before the U.S. invaded in March 2003.

“Saddam realized, this time, the Americans are coming,” he told the Sun. “They handed over the weapons of mass destruction to the Syrians.”

Jordan recently seized 20 tons of chemicals trucked in by confessed al Qaeda members who brought it in from Syria. The chemicals included VX, Sarin and 70 others. But the media seem curiously incurious whether one could reasonably trace this stuff back to Iraq.

The response to that one is that Iraq manufactured these weapons and were only transported to Syria after the U.S. invasion.

That still wouldn't faze a dimwit with the BDS.

They would insists to the fact that at the time of invasion, Iraq didn't have WMDs. The technically wouldn't trump their desire to demonize Bush.
