"Republicans will also ruthlessly exploit openings that Clintonin the genteel confines of an intra-party contestnever could. Top targets: Obamas radioactive personal associations, his liberal ideology, his exotic life story, his coolly academic,
his wife Michelle and elitist style."
Fixed.

That is why some friends describe Clinton as seeing herself on a mission to save Democrats from themselves.Right--Hillary has always shown that she puts party ahead of Hillary, and country ahead of party.

So the Clinton argument is essentially that Barack Obama has not been around long enough for the media to accept his lies and hypocrisy, whereas she has. Interesting way to look at the ability to wear people out and have them ignore the foibles.

She and Bill Clinton both devoutly believe that Obamas likely victory is a disaster-in-waiting. Well, for once I agree with the Clintonians. That's been my preferred route to a McCain victory in November. But the Clintons don't really give a hoot about the Democratic Party, America, Jesus, God, or anything else in Heaven or Earth other than their own narcissistic selves. The disaster they truly abhor...and the one which is getting CLOSE to realization...is their descent into political oblivion..
Farewell Slick Willie & your Hildebeast. Our country WILL somehow muddle through WITHOUT YOU! Have a nice day...

Then theres the lower-income white vote. Does it seem odd that a woman with a polarizing reputation would be rolling up enormous margins among some of the countrys most traditional voters? No. Because we are bred to respond to one of us. Them folks that's different is who we hate. When we hear Hillary say, "I dont feel no ways tired. I come too far from where I started from. Can I get me a gun and a Bible to hug? I'm flat scared," well she's done got this ol' hillbilly's heart. It's just the way I was learned.

I’m already designing my T-Shirts with an outline of a handgun that says:
“I’m not bitter OR frustrated, I just believe in the Second Amendment.”
and, one with a Bible that says:
“I’m not bitter OR frustrated, I just believe in God.”

Best entertainment on the web these days is DU. They are having a civil war (although most of the posters seem to be Obama supporters.) They hate Hillary, of course, but then there is the occasional Hillary poster who posts what was expressed in this article, Obama can’t win in the GE because of his associations and statements. If it goes to convention and Hillary somehow pulls out the nomination...Katie bar the door!

All very trye, possibly, as far as it goes. But it misses the real point about why Hillary stays in. It’s all about Hillary.

Both men lost control of their public images to the right-wing freak show that network of operatives and commentators working mostly outside of the mainstream media and ultimately lost their elections as many voters came to see them as exotic, elitist, out-of-touch, phony and even unpatriotic. Here's the "money quote" from this piece by John Harris... This is what they (the mainstreams and liberal elite media) think about us and conservatives in general. We're the "freak show". And Al Gore and John F'n Kerry were both casualties of the "freak show" attacks. Rather amazing.
It's actually quite nice to see the Dems tearing each other apart and revealing their contempt for this country and its great middle class. JMHO.

The hate America crowd would rather lose with Barry than will with Hillary. Losing with Barry would allow them to keep holding their hateful prejudices close to the their black hearts. No matter if Barry’s loses the nomination or the general election, there explanation has been composed. Barry lost because America is country full of bitter white folk, clinging to religion, guns, and oh yes Barry lost because the country is racist.
