You are your brother's keeper with your own time and money.

Taking my money or anyone else's to fund causes you feel worthy is not compassion, it is theft.

Liberals are generous to a fault, with other people's money, not their own.

Someone ask Hillary about this...

Hillary Clinton’s denunciations of China have been undermined by disclosures that her husband’s charitable foundation received a donation from a Chinese internet company accused of aiding the crackdown in Tibet.

In 2005, Alibaba arranged for Mr Clinton to speak at a conference of internet executives in Hangzhou, but instead of receiving a fee - which can range from $100,000 to $400,000 - he accepted an undisclosed donation to the William J Clinton Foundation.

A spokesman for the foundation confirmed that a donation had been received from Alibaba.

However, in her White House campaign, Mrs Clinton has called on President George W Bush to skip the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics in August. “The violent clashes in Tibet and the failure of the Chinese government to use its full leverage with Sudan to stop the genocide in Darfur are opportunities for presidential leadership,” she said recently.

Supports MFN for China, despite concerns over human rights

Clinton supported most favored nation trade status despite concerns about China’s human rights record. “We have to use our our moral and material strengths in ways that serve our evolving interests,” she said. “We have to ask ourselves what hope does the global market hold for the tens of millions of victims of child labor, or for the 100 million street children without homes or families whom I’ve seen everywhere from Brazil to Mongolia who are being left to fend for themselves.”

I weep for my country.

Among conservatives, the perfect candidate is ?????

Right. There’s no consensus.

So, let’s attack McCain for not being ?????????.

This is going to be a long election season. And I suspect that SOME of you, (I can use caps too) will do everything in your power to point out that John McCain isn’t your perfect (but unknown) candidate.

Even among the very regular posters here on Free Republic, there was no consensus candidate. So, McCain has to be attacked.

I’ll never understand it....Never in a million years.

But, keep on attacking the guy who understand terrorism.

I’m voting for McCain. There is no way I’d sit out this election.

No, he wasn’t my first, second or even third choice.

He will go. Unlike Gordon Brown and Merkel, Bush can't afford to piss off our landlord.

Personally I think that McCain should show up if this was a forum hosted after the Democrat nominee was picked. Since it is still a shark battle between the two, it seems a little appropriate. Think about it, if McCain wasn’t around the only negative remarks we can pick from the contestants are from the two Democrats, IMO.

Neither Obama nor Clinton held the belief that life begins at conception. And the both of them get on there, acting like they think abortion should be some last resort option that is rarely used. Want to know the truth? Just look at Hillary’s voting record and her public speeches and appearances at pro-abortion rallies and dinners. Same for Obama. He was fully in favor of Partial Birth Abortion. Bunch of sickos. They may be able to fool the American public, but I can guarantee that they won’t fool Him.

I am old enough to have retired. In my entire voting life, I have voted Republican in EVERY Presidential election. And on every one of those national tickets, I have voted for a guy name George Bush or Bob Dole. I saw what Ronald Reagan could only have dreamed of, a Republican White House with Republican majorities in both houses. But George Bush DID NOT even say he was going to get rid of the Department of Education, let alone put it to a vote. No his first act was to get in bed with Teddy Kennedy and have him write most of No Child Left Behind.

I am not pouting and personally attacking the Keating Five guy because it gives me some kind of mean-spirited pleasure because I did not get my way.

Jorge Bush has established the Teddy Kennedy wing of the Republican Party, and that is a wing, I will not and cannot support.

But, keep on attacking the guy who understand terrorism.

Karl Rove quite successfully, used fear and the Republican is better on terrorism argument to get independents and and swing voters to vote for Bush in his second term. Now, the fear card and the traitor card are being used on this forum to get Republicans to vote for Teddy Kennedy's bed partner.

Scare me, bully me, call me names, but I have paid my dues to the Republican Party and I am drawing the line at voting for this dislikable RINO relic, the Republicans are calling their candidate for President.
