Be careful mouser, if you say a news report is not proof on a story like this you'll need flame retardant pants. But you are right, even an affidavit, until the witness has been cross examined shows no evidence, it is just ipse dixit.

What are you talking about? Who is saying they all look alike? I’m talking about news reports, referring to the hundred + women interviewed by authorities, not a few that have been on TV.

Excuse me if I was wrong. I thought you were talking about the one’s that were just being interviewed on TV. I had just pointed out to my wife that they all had exactly the same hair do, and clothes. Then I read your statement and since you had not referenced it, I made a mistake. sorry.

I am flummoxed by your ability to read things I have not written.

Indeed, I read things you had not written. That post was intended for an FLDS excuser and you caught the flak. My apologies for any discomfort experienced!

Texas has no duty to publicly parade evidence at this time and no criminal charges are public. A certain pregnant minor critical mass may have been reached within the FLDS polygamist cult, especially where old goats assign themselves young carnal partners within "Spiritual" marriage. That critical mass is very powerful evidence made flesh, in about 9.5 months!

There you have it. Minors give birth, positive DNA match's, now that is evidence. Time will tell.

No problem-o :) I just now watched an interview video from a link posted in another thread. They look like clones and sound like robots. Everything is pre-programmed by someone else, hair, dress, what to say...it was kind of sad to watch.

There are a couple of women that have managed to escape this FLDS cult, although they haven’t lived in the Eldorado compound. I’ve seen them both interviewed on the chat shows, and one of them wrote a book - not in connection with this case but after she escaped WITH HER EIGHT CHILDREN.

The other one - not the one who wrote a book - I saw last night and I quote her exact words. She said little girls are taught their whole lives that they exist in order to begin having babies themselves AS SOON AS THEY BEGIN TO BLEED. Sorry to be so graphic.

Now let me tie this to what one of the Eldorado women said on Fox and Friends yesterday. She was demanding her children back, but the hosts began asking her pointed questions about her life. One was very instructive. How many children do you have? The woman answered THAT SHE HAS TWELVE CHILDREN.

Also, the woman interviewed last night said that you begin having children when you begin to bleed, and that you HAVE A BABY EVERY YEAR.

She also explained what types of abuse you undergo. Even beyond the childhood sex and a baby every year. I won’t repeat it here, but it gives the lie to the idyllic life and voluntary life these Eldorado women who’ve been interviewed tried to project.

Tieing this altogether with the point about the young and older boys...the sex and the babies and all of that is PLANNED WITH THE OLDER MEN, who already have multiple “wives” and huge, huge numbers of children (multiple wives, a baby per year by each wife).

So where does that leave young boys who grow up to “interested in girls” age inside the cult??

Ask yourself, please. And be honest with yourself. You are too intelligent to miss the clear implication. Which fits perfectly with what I heard from a couple of young FLDS men who were interviewed during the Warren Jeffs newsmaking period, who were out of the cult but were very fearful of retribution against them for speaking out.

By the way, I lived in San Angelo for more than 30 years. Have been to and through Eldorado numerous times and to all of the small towns in the San Angelo area. I still live in West Texas.

I caught a portion of that interview myself, and I heard this part.  It was graphic, but then it was probably factual.  I do want to caution folks about believing everything that ex-members of organizations say about the organization though.  I have seen members of churches leave and say all manner of evil things about the church, which are non-factual.  I have seen people leave clubs and say God awful things about them.  I have seen people leave this forum and say things that weren't all that factual.  That doesn't mean folks shouldn't listen to the accounts or dismiss them in total, but I do think it's something to take in, keep in the back of your mind, and filter through other things you hear over time.

These accounts are generally not something you want to take as gospel, hook line and sinker.  Parts of this woman's comments may be accurate.  Parts may not be.  All of it may be accurate, and most of it may be pure embelishment.  I've just seen too many folks come off as experts because of prior relationships, only to be revealed later as opportunists and liars later on.

I am not saying that everything this woman says is a lie, I'm simply mentioning that folks should go slow here and see how things play out in this case.  The facts in this case, are what we have to pay attention to, not the reality that some person who used to be a member of a group like this, wants us to believe.  It may pan out in time, that the facts in this case stay quite close to what she is describing, but I want that on the record before I buy into all of her comments.

Now let me tie this to what one of the Eldorado women said on Fox and Friends yesterday. She was demanding her children back, but the hosts began asking her pointed questions about her life. One was very instructive. How many children do you have? The woman answered THAT SHE HAS TWELVE CHILDREN.

If having twelve children is wrong, then there are many families in this nation who should be in serious trouble.  Was the follow up question, did you bear twelve children or are you refering to communal children?  My suspicion is that she bore them, but it is an important question to ask.

Also, the woman interviewed last night said that you begin having children when you begin to bleed, and that you HAVE A BABY EVERY YEAR.

And she may be right about the compound(s) she was a part of.  She may not be intirely right with this one.  This is all hearsay at the moment.

She also explained what types of abuse you undergo. Even beyond the childhood sex and a baby every year. I won’t repeat it here, but it gives the lie to the idyllic life and voluntary life these Eldorado women who’ve been interviewed tried to project.

It seems you are willing to believe every word of the lady on FoxNews, but don't believe a word out of the mouths of people still living at the farm.  You and I share a belief that things at the farm were problematic.  I believe they may have been vile.  I still want to caution folks to watch as this case plays out, and accept what is proven.  Any hearsay or comments from former members is interesting at this point to be sure, but it is not concrete evidence about what was taking place at Eldorado at this time.  It's not even concrete evidence about what was taking place elsewhere.  One person's version of events can be quite accurate, or it can be a mixture of fact and fabrication.  It can also be mostly fabrication.  We wil see how this plays out.

Tieing this altogether with the point about the young and older boys...the sex and the babies and all of that is PLANNED WITH THE OLDER MEN, who already have multiple “wives” and huge, huge numbers of children (multiple wives, a baby per year by each wife).

Very little has been revealed to the public about this case.  The authorities are keeping the facts pretty close to the vest.  As those facts are revealed during court cases, we will know what was truly taking place.  I once again want to caution folks to please not buy into every rumor or so-called expert that says something about this case.  They may or may not be right on target.

So where does that leave young boys who grow up to “interested in girls” age inside the cult??

I don't really know.  Do you really know?  In time all will be revealed.

I get very nervous when the public is spoon fed one side of situation by the authorities and the media.  I am not exhonerating the Eldorado people at all.  I am merely asking folks to back off a little and watch as the actual charges and evidence is revealed, then make up your mind as the "actual facts" warrant.  In time we could find out that the people at this farm were terrible disgusting animal-like individuals.  It's not going to inhibit acual justice for us to wait to see what the charges and facts reveal.  That's all I'm saying.

Every person who is arrested by law enforcement is suspect of criminal behavior.  Strangely enough, many of these arrested people mount a defense and are aquitted.  Some of them are unjustly IMO, but enough do get off fairly that I really do try to wait until the facts are known.

By the way, I lived in San Angelo for more than 30 years. Have been to and through Eldorado numerous times and to all of the small towns in the San Angelo area. I still live in West Texas.

Okay, are you saying that you toured the farm, or are you saying you may have driven through the area?  I'm not sure what that has to do with the facts of this case, or how it relates to the suspects.

I'm not trying to give you trouble.  My suspicions run pretty close to the lines yours do.  I don't like the media fanning the flames over this case, in the absense of any real information about it.
