"he speaks to the America I've envisioned in my music for the past 35 years."

You mean the Americans that hate America?

Really? I don't remember Bruce singing about "God Damn America" nor signing about whitey spreading AIDS to the black man. Which album is that on?

An endorsement from Bruce Springsteen is the kiss of death.

Let’s hope he helps Obama as much as he did Kerry.

Springsteen has been a political moron for decades.
This is about the least surprising endorsement of 2008.

You can't win a general election with a coalition of African- Americans and America hating white liberal elitist billionaires/millionaires, who buy brie.

"Hussein Obama’s big mouth, small brain, condescending, America-hating, grandkid-baby-terminating, born-alive-infant-abandoning, America-hating-wife, kooky-moonbat-America-hating-pastor, racially-divisive, race-baiting, crotch-saluting, America-flag-disrespecting ... chickens ... coming home to roost ...!"

For an inside look at the real Hussein Obama and his elite hate America backers at San Francisco where Hussein Obama made his elitist remarks,

Lots of interesting comments on these threads.

The best thing about my divorce is that I no longer had to listen to Bruce Springsteen and pretend I liked it... Uggggh!

Never, ever got the whole Springsteen thing. From the first day I heard him until the present. If I hear a Springsteen song, I can’t change the channel fast enough. And really don’t like to look at him - think I’d rather watch a Micheal Jackson video. Really.

I love how Bruce tries to don the "Intellectual Everyman" persona, and so many of his fans buy into it.

As an intellectual, he's a highschool dropout.

And the fact that he's lived the pampered life of a multi-millionaire rock star since Richard Nixon was president pretty much shoots down the "everyman" pose.

I guess the field is too crowded to claim the "rich dope" title as his own.

Who's Bruce Springsteen? Does he have magical or superhuman powers? Does he have extensive domestic & foreign policy experience?

No? Then why should I give a rip who this has-been nobody endorses?

You hear me, Brucey? I DON'T CARE...

I guess Bruce also agrees with obama that small town America is always bitter, even though he took their money to make him fabulously wealthy.

"he speaks to the America I've envisioned in my music for the past 35 years."

Bruce envisions a nation of draft dodging, adulterers.

He’s soooo into the black thing. He makes such a big deal about having a sub-mediocre black sax player in his band.
