re: Those mothers (who failed to protect their daughters from the sickening sexual onslaught of their fathers, uncles, older brothers, & etc.) are not going to see their children for a long time to come...if ever again. Get used to it, Mom. They need you like they need a hole in the head...)))

Well, consider that some of these moms were made mothers in their early teens after a lifetime of domination--couldn't even call upon brothers or a sweetheart to help protect them because they were driven off...

It's like a breeding farm for sex slaves, and I can't handle those who identifying with the dirty old men.

‘I think that is a male on male pedophile.’

I think a pedophile is sexually interested in kids before puberty.

I think a pederast is sexually interested in adolescent kids.

It is a sad day when we have to even discuss these terms. In any event, we know what we all are talking about.

These children will not be into drugs, porn, scandal etc

Oh really? You mean the boys who are evicted from the compounds because they start showing an interest in girls that some 50 year old pervert wants to marry won't have trouble with drugs or end up being male prostitutes and making porn just so they have somethin to eat!

It isn't that the kids were being taken to a "camp", they were being freed from a "camp".

The FLDS definitely runs according to the "fuhrer principle".

Regarding the guy, there's no evidence he was in Arizona on the day the girl was beaten and had her ribs broken.

Actually there is. The guys parole officer has, I believe, verified it.

Do not get me wrong...that guy is a criminal and is already serving time for similar issues...but apparently he was not in Texas when this one is alleged to have happened.

And if the girl never comes forward, it will be almost impossible to get the types or quantities of convictions that the state will be looking for...because the lawyers for this outfit are going to find all sorts of technicalities.

If that occurs, sadly, tragically, it will have been the State of Texas who served those technicalities up for them.

I do not say this with any relish. I hope I am wrong. I am a native Texan and my wife and I have raised three wonderful daughters. I would very much like to see people who abuse young girls (or any young children for that matter) go down very, very hard. But I want it legal and I want it proper so that it can be made to stick.

I didn’t realize that you had to be a “feminist” to be against sexual slavery of women and children.

Fruits of the poisonous vine and all.

First you need to prove that happened, when the perverts attorney agreed to a third party review of things taken from the cult to protect client attorney privilege. They pretty well gave up the challenge of like of good faith against the warrant.

I suggest you contact authorities in Michigan to begin dealing with open polygamy.

You seem to have read that funny piece by that blond woman who thought this was a federal case.

It's not.

Texas is different than Michigan I am sure. For one thing Michigan has been working its way out of a past overlain with brother/sister situations, so a little polygamy among cousins isn't considered all that much of a bother.

There have been several reports of these girls being underage and pregnant. I’ve heard “21 teenage girls”—

I can find 21 pregnant teenagers just by trolling the local high school. In the 50s many teens were pregnant and married. In the state of Texas one can be fourteen and pregnant and not underaged.

Amen to that .... and people need to think that there has been a lot of trampling of civil rights. As disgusting as these 'men' are, wholesale violations of people's rights is not going to make good justice.

The parole officer never said he saw him on that date.

“Walker said Barlow has met his obligations while on probation, including initial weekly and, later, twice-weekly meetings.

He has never asked for or been given approval to travel to Texas, which would be required,” Walker said.”

I think that he could get to Texas and back between “twice weekly” meetings.

There are some very young children in this bunch out at the baby factory. They know their mothers. They also know their mothers aren't there.

Recall when Bill Clinton's mother fled a similar situation in Hope ~

No wonder Billzo's going nuts this last week. Can you imagine the anguish this puts the man through.

Texas Children's Protective Services spokeswoman Marleigh Meisner said officials decided that children are more truthful in interviews about possible abuse if their parents are not around.

It's from the Dade County Prosecutor Play Book, author Janet Reno.

Could be. I’d be checking these cult camps for signs of dead bodies.

Well, no one has shown or proved him leaving. His parole officer has indicated he was there. And the State of Arizona apparently did not go for an arrest warrant based on the call.

It is not air tight evidence...but apparently it was good enough for the state of Arizona.

Without that 16 year old girl coming forward and being interviewed and examined...and then tying her and her injuries and abuse directly to this guy at the facility/compund there in Texas, the case becomes very difficult...and could negatively impact the overall case.

That's my point.

All it takes is a tad bit of amniotic fluid and they guy's gotta' prove he wasn't in Texas doing the deed.

The woman is pregnant!

Always keep in mind that we are doing with people, not property. And the guy's on parole. Rules of evidence get "flipped" when that happens to you. If he misbehaves or is suspected of misbehaving, he goes back to jail.
