Unbelievable. I work in the food industry and a few of my colleagues have worn Che t-shirts. It’s always funny to get their reaction when you tell them how murderous and savage he was. They have no concept of history. BHO is a marxist and hates this country, I firmly believe this. I hope he is the Dem candidate, because all John McLame has to do is point out his poison idiology.

Here is the speech Obama should give to the American public:

"You know folks I've tried to sell you on the idea that I'm just a poor, common American who can lead you to the promised land. But I have to come clean, I'm really an out-and-out leftist and not just a leftist sympathizer. I'd like to make this country look like Sweden west. I'd like to make businessman and rich people pay for their wealth...which my wife and myself deeply aspire to. I'd like to make being a conservative punishable by long prison terms. I'd like to take away your guns and your property. Especially your big cars.

I'd like to cave in to our enemies...which we've created by our evil capitalist system. I'd like people to forget about the idea of individualism and join the world Marxist-Leftist movement. If we succeed, only a few people aka deserving leftists (wink at the crowd) will be genuinely wealthy. My wife and I hope to be in that latter crowd. Thank you, and good night."

Yeah. Nothing else to listen to on morning radio after WABC booted Curtis & Kuby to make room for Imus.

My car radio's almost always tuned to the local Rush, Sean, Levin, and Chris Plante radio station (WMAL). Whenever I can't get good talk radio (weekends are a vast wasteland), I tune to smooth jazz.

I was in the Navy during the Cuban Crisis, and we lived on the East Coast during the great escapes from Cuba by the good Cubans after the Cuban Crisis.

When I see one of those shirts, I ask the wearers why they love Serial Killers like Che.

If they start to argue, I ask them if they would like a house call from some good Cubans to tell them about Che and his serial killing of innocents.

I hear you about the charisma thing.

Here’s the problem I see for McCain. Obama has largely succeeded in remaining positive, no matter what you think of his policies. Democrats will go to the polls to vote for a charismatic candidate with a positive message. Republicans will go to the polls to vote for a candidate who seems to have no more to offer than more of what President Bush has been delivering for the last seven years. It’s no challenge to predict who will get better turn out.

Democrats don’t matter in this election because they can’t win without the independent moderates.

How many times can you listen to the same old hacks...is he still trotting the same bozos out? Doris Kearns Goodwin? Chris Dodd? Joe Biden?

Yep. Same old same old. Same old claque of sycophants dutifully laughing in the background at his witless jokes -- with the addition of a couple of new titterers who are racially correct.

He's actually taking credit for "discovering" Doris Kearns Goodwin, Oliphant and other lame-O lefty regulars. But to be fair, he does call them "commies" to their faces.

He's brought on a few new pets whom he overpraises, like Matt Taibbi from Rolling Stone mag. Seems like a pathetic attempt to freshen up the show with new voices. But the new people aren't particularly insightful or compelling.

Obama IS a trained politician. They have been grooming him for this since before he met the the Rev. Wright, since before he went to law school. I read an article about his days at law school, about how he turned down the invitation to run for Pres. of the Law review the first time that he was asked because he said that he just wasn’t interested in that, that he knew what he was going to do when he got out of law school and the Law Review wasn’t necessary.

Got another explanation? errr stammer uh...

Or like my sis, the social worker, would say -- when confronted with the facts you mention -- "I don't believe those numbers. They're not true."

So, does she have some numbers of her own? Nope. But she just knows mine are wrong.

Liberalism is a religion...and I have attacked an article of her faith.

I'm still a bit shocked that Hillary admitted on national TV that she lied about Bosnia and got away with it, and glossed over it because she was "proud" that she went to Bosnia, and yet nobody in the media seems to care.

As for the debate itself, it was a joke all around. The moderators were idiots, asked idiotic questions (apparently they like to quote the Constitution or various amendments, but conveniently forgot that the bit about President/Vice President based on votes was thrown out over 200 years ago), ambushed Obama and then allowed Hillary to jump on, all the while ignoring the serious problems with Hillary. John McCain had to be quite happy while watching it (although I'm sure he's making a mental note to never be a part of an ABC debate).

Boy Hillary looked and acted desperate. McCain is lucky that he'll be debating Obama and not her.

If that was truly the case, Hillary would be on her way to winning the Democratic primary instead of the train-wreck of a campaign she's currently in the middle of.

Seriously, when someone denies my facts that refute their ideology,

I want to shake them and demand that they provide proof that the numbers are wrong. They can’t, but they have the hand up and eyes down pose - “I WON’T believe it”.

OK, dammit, what ARE the right numbers, if you ABSOLUTELY KNOW that mine aren’t right?

Hillary has agreed to a debate in North Carolina in the next couple of weeks.

So far, she's the only participant, though.

I hear Ron Paul's available. :^P

He needs a good vp candidate... and yes I think he’ll rise to the challenge unless something weird happens...Obama will try to draw him into a race on age...

There are none, of course.

That's when she starts crying.

It's just not worth it, arguing with a liberal relative.

I wouldn't expect a good VP candidate, either. It will be some moderate, non-partisan wuss. McCain won't abide a running mate who has strong, well-defined views -- neither his political strategy nor his ego will allow for that.

This will create a long-term problems for conservatives. McCain isn't a conservative and neither will his VP be. Thus, whether the McCain administration lasts four years or eight, the likely successor will be yet another moderate.

Exactly! Way too many in the GOP hierarchy and among the big donors have it in their head that because Bush won twice, that going with a liberal/moderate (the two are basically the same these days) is the way to go.

Wh put up a VP candidate who is untested or vetted? Someone like Romney or Condi have already been scrutinized, esp her....

I think we’re all staying with him, but if he pulls out some wuss @ss VP, then forget it....
